I hate "Prophetic words" that are given to people. There is nothing prophetic about it when you tell them of their supposed "destiny". The proof of Jesus is not in the videos but in Jesus Himself. We live in a society that needs proof to believe it but Jesus says in John 19:29 "Because you have seen me, you have belived; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." It's not about what you see or don't see but where your faith stands. I think it's awesome that Stephen Bladwin (A celebrity) can announce Christ. I wish more people outside of stardom can do the same.

Why are all the atheists angry just because Stephen believes in God? I'm only 27 years old and I've seen this country change drastically. It used to be considered normal for people to have values and to be Christian. We will see how crazy we Christians are when Christ comes back, and I bet it will be sooner rather than later.

I spent most of my life trying to prove Christianity wrong while God kept sending Christians into my life to show me Christianity was right. I finally gave my life to Jesus Christ and as soon as I did that God began to open my eyes to the truth. You will not get to the truth by thinking about it. You have to humble yourself and then God will show it to you. Trust me when I say this: The last thing I wanted was for this to be real. But it is and the peace that comes with it is unexplainable.

The proof of Jesus is not in the videos but in Jesus Himself. We live in a society that needs proof to believe it but Jesus says in John 19:29 "Because you have seen me, you have belived; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." It's not about what you see or don't see but where your faith stands. I think it's awesome that Stephen Bladwin (A celebrity) can announce Christ. I wish more people outside of stardom can do the same.

You see God gives us proof through our actions that we take in faith. We may not know what we are doing or going to do but with faith of just going and intently listening God is able to show us the way, provide for us, and reveal Himself to us.

If so, the chain of events and generations of people described - from God's 7-Day Construction Project to Adam & Eve to all the begatting, etc. - establishes however imprecisely a general age range that cannot exceed 10,000 yrs and seems closer to 6-8,000. Science most definitely DISagrees with this by several orders of magnitude.

I spent most of my life trying to prove Christianity wrong while God kept sending Christians into my life to show me Christianity was right. I finally gave my life to Jesus Christ and as soon as I did that God began to open my eyes to the truth. You will not get to the truth by thinking about it. You have to humble yourself and then God will show it to you. Trust me when I say this: The last thing I wanted was for this to be real. But it is and the peace that comes with it is unexplainable.

Thinking is not antithetical to humility. I agree that our pride puts blinders before our eyes. But just as there are prideful thinkers who look down on others they deem intellectually inferior, there are also prideful non-thinkers who look down on people for using their brains.

@thedylanizreal1 Nobody doubts the mental peace that results from denying reality and hypnotizing oneself into accepting some intoxicating dream of rainbows, unicorns and everlasting whatever. @fjohnson747 Hey friend. The reality is that there is a reality behind this reality. I didn't need to hypnotize myself into accepting Christ; in fact, the opposite is true as I spent many years trying to convince myself that it wasn't true. The truth of Christ is that if you accept Christ as your saviour and turn away from your sins you will wake up to the truth. Your whole reality will change. You will know that you know that you know. You will know God's grace, and that grace is truth.

If I went around telling people that I believed in an invisible, purple, 3-headed immortal dinosaur that created the earth about 10,000 yrs ago and who now lives underground and telepathically listens to the thoughts of every human alive, how should I expect that to be received by others? What's the difference between my hypothetical Almighty Barney and God, except for the head count of the like-minded?

@fjohnson747 - First, Jesus rose from the dead! He was observed by numerous people who testified to this truth. Agree or not, it’s proof! We exist and that is major proof of a Creator! Physics attests to a Creator! The mere existence of the universe demands that a Creator exists! The laws of the universe which make life possible demonstrates there is a law giver, God! Biblical prophecy proves a sovereign God is in TOTAL control! Common sense demands a Creator!!!

@Isaiah122 You state that you believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible, which indicates that the Earth is no older than about 8-10,000 years. Abundant geologic & fossil evidence indicates its age closer to 4.5 billion years. That is like believing that the distance between the east and west coasts of the US is about 10 yards when we know it's closer to 3,000 miles. I truly cannot fathom how a healthy human mind can deny such glaring Biblical bullshit.

#1. Actually the Bible doesn't give a date of the earth or the universe. The Bible simply states it had a beginning and will have an end. Science agrees with this.
#2. Someone has deceived you into believing a lie. First, the fossil record doesn’t support an old earth; it actually supports a young earth. Second, geological evidence doesn’t support and old earth; it supports a young earth.

Unanswered mysteries do not provide an automatic entry point for your particular creator to come in and fill the void.
It's ok to say "we don't know"...yet.
I was indoctrinated as a Christian from a time i can't even remember but escaped the collective over a quater of a century ago.I know what you believe and why you believe it.
It brings fear and comfort in equal doses but never satisfies intellectually.
Individual Processing isn't for everyone.
But i do recommend it :)
