I love lea, but she is not better than the original. She is just singing it, Jodi Benson became ariel when she sang it. She had to tone it down in the vocals and make it more breathy to make the song more emotional. Its all in the recording video, when Howard ashman is coaching her vocals.
lea salonga has got the best disney voice but what is impressive is that her voice remains as beautiful as ever. she is timeless. i cant say that to the other disney princesses..... but maybe because lea has taken good care of her voice & is still very active in her career.
Well she is a Pisces, also known as the Fish.. They say Pisces live in water (emotions) and she truly has the Beautiful or unique voice that is associated with Pisces.Not too mention Pisces is the most artistic sign in the zodiac.
i absolutely can hear minute differences from the original...other than the introduction and clapping hands, i'd say this isn't a concert...rather it's the song sung by Ariel herself on the Animation...Pure awesomeness...Disney will never find any singing voice that's better than Miss Lea's.
