Both carferrys were working the Sault St Marie up until the bridge was built. We sold then to Canada to be the Wolfe Island ferry. As they were towed across the bay near the thumb a freak storm hit and fliped one. the tug cut it loose but the car ferrys were cabled together..As one sank is dragged the other with it. Its possible to dive the deepest one find the cable and ascend the second.. That's a tough long dive
