  • @comingforya1 Bills, mortgage and food on a table don't care about reading, gym and "being".

  • I'm with you. I've been unemployed since August 2009. I've wiped my ass with my college degrees and worked odd jobs to make ends meet. It is enough to drive a man insane, but I keep thinking things will get better. They can't get much worse.

  • @IrishLincoln things can and will get worse. 14trill debt and eu defaults will mean recession numero duo

  • @garysquirrelreviews I know things will get much worse in reality. I suppose I am an optimist in denial. I hear human tastes like pork and gold teeth can be sold as well, so that is good to know.

  • you have a college degree why don't you use some of that education and work for yourself you've been struggling for 4 years looking for someone to hire you you are crazy you can work from home try that try starting a small business there is a lot you can do instead of working fro somebody.

  • @genefury75 I am doing consulting work and editing right now. I am also returning to my roots and doing some farming. Most business fields are limited in my area, while some are growing. Thanks for the advice.

  • I been working since 14, sometimes 2 jobs at one time, now I am unemployed. I have skills but no piece of paper to back it up. Now Im to the point where Im thinking to start my own thing up. If they wont hire me, Ill hire myself to get the job done. NEVER GIVE UP.

  • that's what i did i still work for my company but i'm getting ready to leave in a few months because they take advantage of people at my job i have my own company in the asset recovery business i'm in the business of debt.debt will never go away and there will always be a need for somebody to collect it.

  • I am unemployed, it makes me feel like big old piece of shit, worthy of nothing.

  • I have gotten to the point where waiting for a call back is pointless. I followed a three day program until I got my job. Turn in the application, wait three days and then call the place of business, tell the manager you're interested in getting a job and set up an interview. Then after the interview wait three days for a call. If no call, call them and ask the manager if they were interested in hiring you. In this job market you can't wait for a decision from the chief. You gotta inquire.

  • its happened to me i know how you feel im getting lower by the day i just wish i could find something nobody replies to my applications 400 in 8 weeks good luck to you is all i can say

  • I feel the same way I now have no water and no power and I cry almost every day no one to help but when I had I would help others wonder where those ppl are?

  • I can relate to this man of expereincing stages and depression - there are probably too many of us more qulified than otheres that are working

  • Unemployment is a serious issue today. The causes won't be changed overnight. Recently, after being unemployed for over five months myself I developed a system to basically pull myself up by my bootstraps to address the new realities and give you an edge in job hunting. I'm offering the book for free if you would like to check it out. It's titled "GET A GREAT JOB FAST!" and you can get it through my website link on my channel (where I also have a movie to describe the book. Good luck.

  • My job is slow we used to do Full-Time now they just call us when need us I been working in the company for 5 year *sigh* what a life..now I'm just applying for job only God know what would happen to me in the future the only thing I can think of I be one of those homeless peoples.

  • I remember being out of work in the early 1970s and it was very difficult to find a job. So I decided to work for myself. There's no lay offs there and you will learn how to actually make money. While you don't have a regular income at first, something coming in is better than nothing. Sitting around isn't going to do any good. Commission sales I've done for 35 years and I've never been laid off.

  • @WestySimas You are very right. And most of all it is best to have more than one stream of income that way there is something to fall back on.

  • Losing your job is horrible and it happened to me 8/16/2009 and no matter what I can't get hired by ANYONE. Things in Oregon are bad. Everywhere I go they look at me and lie and tell me there is work when they know deep down there is NOTHING. One day I applied for 11 jobs and heard NOTHING about any of them. What bothers me the most is that they lie and really do not tell you there are NO JOBS. I have an accounting degree a 5 year one and it means nothing. I can't get anything no matter what.

  • @PamelaRP So sorry to hear that Pamela, i just lost my job last week and its already hitting me hard :( I have some studies under my belt but at age 36 is going to be tough for me to be given a chance, i know this is true. I know its much harder in America though so maybe you might want to consider coming to Australia and staying here permanently? You have a skill and your english being an American would blend in well here.

    Worth considering ;)

  • CAPITALISM AIN´T WORKING !

  • @HarvardBoxer Capitalism isn't the problem. This system is communist and favors the socialists. This is not a capitalistic system as it stands now. It is a communist-socialist-fascist toilet.

  • @WestySimas lol no.

America is almost as Ayn Rand free market you can get, without having total anarchy.

  • @DrakeIcn except that there are regulations and licences and certifications on how to do almost everything. Few things are a matter of just doing them, most are a matter of getting the arbitrary approval of someone else.

  • This is so sad. And what's even sadder is that so many others including myself experienced the same thing... There's little opportunity to snag a job in this economy, especially if you're over 45.

I'd love to see an unemployed person win the lottery for hundreds of millions... If I did, I'd like to invest it in something that would create jobs... jobs for unemployed, talented people.

  • Like this video of how bad things really are. Our REAL unemployment rate here is 24% or more if you count all the 99rs who cannot get hired. Found out the call center MSI that let me go got people in another state (ARKANSAS) for $6.25 an hour and that is why they let 190 of us go. All the states need to have to go by the same wage. You watch after the first of the year when our minimum wage goes up again that more and more companies will close for good here. The US sucks and is going downhill.

  • @PamelaRP Hi. I'm from Canada. I lost my job in 2009. My boss declared bankruptcy. I now make a living betting on sports games: Baseball, hockey, football and basketball. I do it all. I make pretty good money. In this day and age, everyone should always have a backup plan set up in case their job is lost like mine.

  • Is it that bad in the US?? OMG...Its the same all over Europe..

  • Thanks for this video of how bad the REAL unemployment rate is here in Oregon. The REAL rate is 20-24% at least and NOT 10% like they say. I woke up one day and MSI laid me and 190 others off for something we did not do and sent the jobs to another area for lower wages. I hate what they have done to us by taking our jobs away and our government making money for keeping NAAFTA legal. This country is going to heck fast and is not getting any better.

  • Same here. hundreds of resumes doing out every week. Three years now making barely enough to by my meds. I sure hope those companies who are outsourcing have a nice, fat, comfy holiday season.

  • Same here. hundreds of resumes doing out every week. Three years now. I sure hope those companies who are outsourcing have a nice, fat, comfy holiday season.

  • It's funny how he complains how he can't find a job yet in the background is all his Chinese made electronics. Ohhh, the irony.

  • I love how US Consumers whine and boo-hoo about not having a job. Why don't you go to Iraq and Afghanistan and visit a family or two who were destroyed by your patriotic occupation. See what your "heroes" are up to. Where your parents gunned down by an occupying force and you received a paltry $2500 compensation? No? Then shut up. You have no idea what true pain is.

  • I am a self employed painting contractor and skilled in almost every other trade here in California, I have never in the 35 years as a tradesman seen work so slow, I used to hire guys to help me but I've been doing most of my work my self and now there isn't any work at all. Curse on the livers of government, tax man and those who ruined our housing, home improvement jobs market, If ever I get my hands on them, I will not let go.

  • hey, Mr. Capelle, you need to jerk off three times per day in order to relieve your stress. it works for me , sometimes if I feel tired then i only jerk off once per day , usually around 3am during late night. Last night I had a huge load though because I ate alot of oysters. anyways, I hope your stress will be gone sooner or later:)

  • This happened to me when in August of 2009 the call center outsourced and sent the jobs to Arkansas for $6.25 an hour. There are NO JOBS in Oregon at all. After 130 interviews and no one calls at all knowing they will NEVER EVER EVER hire me. I am being discriminated against for something that is not even my falt. I was in a bad car wreck. The temp agencies know from the first second you get there they will never ever send you out. I have a degree and no criminal record and am being blamed!!!!

  • @Pamela Good luck ma brotha, Oregon is a beautiful state, I hope you will find a good job and stay in Oregon, I often dreamed of retiring there. I walked a highway once that went from Selma down to Gold beach, along the roadside I saw so many wild edible plants( a hobby of mine) that I could have fed myself for weeks. Good luck ma brotha.

  • Thanks for posting this on how bad it feels to be unemployed. I am hardly ever if at all called back after 117 interviews here in Portland where unemployment is at least 12% or more if you count the Real rate. No one gives a damn here especially the Employment Department where you are nothing but a number. Your creditors do not care and will not work out anything with you and blame you for the unemployment. I hate what they have done to us for something that we did not even do at all. US did it.

  • People are not their jobs. Jobs don't define people. Jobs look at people like numbers to do work, not as human beings worthy of love, happiness, health, or well-being. People are paid to do a job, not paid to be good people. All of these concepts are not good, but that's the way the system was made up. To oppress, stress, etc. So in the future when the economy gets much worse to a total collapse and chaos, we must not forget how America was founded on anything but peace/justice.

  • Where have all the economic gains gone? Mostly to the top. The

economists Emmanuel Saez and Thomas Piketty examined tax returns from

1913 to 2008. They discovered an interesting pattern. In the late 1970s,

the richest 1 percent of American families took in about 9 percent of

the nation’s total income; by 2007, the top 1 percent took in 23.5

    percent of total income.

The economy hasn't been this imbalanced since 1928.

  • the real reason you are unemployed is because your a dumb fuck thats too old and too stupid to be productive ,,,and shave off the moustache

  • @MrBullhounds and comments like that do what? Come on, not even called for. Don't be a part of the problem please.

  • @MrBullhounds oh common be fukin human

  • As a Graphic Designer, I been unemployed for almost two years now. It feels horrible. I try to stay positive, learn more skills, and stay busy. But there are days when I just don't know what to do and then stress took over and I started drinking so I can go to sleep. I know you feel lost, isolated, and it seems like the whole world is passing you by.

  • @Khantikone123 you are not alone me as a truck driver 2ys unemployed i feel like blowing my brains out!!

  • @RULI1974 Just keep yourself occupied, maybe take a hobbies or something that you've always wanted to do but didn't have the time. Exercise helps relief some stress. I know 2 years is a long time, and to us who are unemployed, it's depression not recession, but don't anything stupid, you'll regret later.

  • @Khantikone123 Man,what a coincidence. I'm a Graphic Designer too and still jobless until today.I was graduated on 2008 and two years of my life I spend and wasted for unsuccessful and hopeless interview (no reply and feedback at all).Seriously, now I became an alcoholic and feel a deep depressed every time when I always thinking someone rejected me.For me our creative field industry is on extinction and dead.

  • @rickylovehorror86 We just have to keep on looking; In the meantime, keep up with your skill level. When you feel bored and depressed, go to a bookstores, shops (you don't have to buy anything), take a day trip visiting different towns or states, watch classic movies from 1930's and 40's. My point is, do things you normally wouldn't. And get myself out of the house; isolation is not healthy for us. I really wishing you luck , and I hope everything will turnout OK for all of us.

  • @rickylovehorror86 Alcohol is the Destruction of mankind, Herb is the Healing of the Nation, Guidence

  • maybe u wrote ur address and/or phone number wrong. im sure the interviewers would get back to u if they could read ur handwriting or something

  • I feel your pain man,I have been unemployed for over a year and living on my wifes back since. We have a 6 months old and my wife is a disabled vet.ISSent applications for the simple jobs and as u sad never got called back.I used to make almost 70 000$ a year which was awesome. Now its a fight

  • Hese making copy or Current movies and sell them on the streets... did you see how many cd burner he had 1:12..

  • Thanks for posting this video here on YouTube. I have been unemployed for almost a year and it has been so very bad. The Employment Department does not give a darn or care and thinks it is your falt that you have lost your job. I have been to every workshop down there and it did no good. MSI let 190 of us go and moved to Arkansas to get people for $6.25 an hour and that is why companies are leaving cities is to get people for lower wages yet the people at the Employment Department blame you.

  • hell ya i make $14/ hr and i just stand around all day and make smoothies. its pretty chill, i hope i dont get laid off.

  • hang in there. I feel your anguish. I hate it when interviewers say they'll get back to you and they never do.

  • People need to realize that companies only USE people and that an individual can be fired at any time.

It's best to be indifferent towards any company you work for, that way, when they do fire you, you won't wind up all bent out of shape like this guy.

  • It's disheartening to be out looking for work spending money out looking in this summer heat with only a few bucks ever dwindling in my pocket feeling like the world is going to end. We need Obama to be a modern day Franklin Delano Roosevelt to get in there to help our country get back on our feet. Many people just had the carpet pulled from under their feet while trying to find solid ground.

  • Got a support/resource/advocacy group going on FB for unemployment. Hopefully we can get our voices heard! Group called Unemployed? Make your VOTE count in NOV, And VOICE count NOW. Feel free to join, best of luck!

  • The good thing about growing up poor as that you apprciate money when you have it but can survive without it.I laugh at these people that were so used to money and now have nothing and going crazy.Money is not everything.

  • why don't we protest by burning wall street to the ground.throwing stockbrokers out of 10 story windows.making greenspan eat ham and eggs.lets show the real new world order.violenty

  • Also devestated since losing my job via a debilitating event 8 yrs ago. Im permantly disabled and my employer wouldn't allow me back to work after 3 months leave. Highly educated (2 Masters & many prof. certs) all work was done on a PC. Physical disability but employer (a fortune 500 company) viewed me as a liability. They would rather employ an ablebodied individual. It shows that disability descrimination does exist and that the Americans With Disabliities Act has no teeth. Sad & waiting

  • the waiting game sux

  • Welcome to your NWO folks.

  • Use to make 80 g's!

Now not so high living now right?

Aw enough to bring a tear to a glass eye

See the real world for what it is.

  • I'm unemployed for 2 years as of 7-1-08. Only odd jobs and manual labor, under the table, etc. since then. I used to make 80,000 USD and now ZERO. I'm going fuckin' crazy!!! Anyone else out there??? My credit is completely ruined and I've lost pretty much everything including unemployment. 38 years old. Life over? I know the U.S. and global economy IS.

  • Stop the whining,

  • @TheBlizzardcat Fuck you, I hope you die miserably and slowly you fuckin' cunt!

  • Apple and other clients have said they are investigating working conditions at Foxconn, which has some 420,000 employees at its base in Shenzhen and has come under fire for its secretive corporate culture.

Workers live inside the factory complex and churn out products for the world's leading computer and phone companies in round-the-clock shifts. IN CASE ANYONE WHO DOESN"T HAVE A JOB OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS HAVE LET THEM ALL GO OVERSEES. AMERICANS ARE SOON TO ALL BE UNEMPLOYED.

  • Everyones ego has taken a hit!

Time the piper to be paid in full!

    No credit!

    No checks!

    No bailouts!

  • I literally just cried this morning when i remember i passed school exams but im sitting here broke as a joke without a job

  • Idiots like these are who voted for BO (the moron). You screwed us all and now you want us to feel sorry for your lack of foresight and stupidity. Got a suggestion, shut up and put up with what your great "leader" has in store for you. He is not done yet. It will only be two and a half more years. How is your hope and change working out for you. I do feel sorry for the majority of the country who did not agree with the selection for president. But we know he is only a one term ass.

  • @milla610 : I didn't vote for either grandpa or this guy.

I agree with you. One term President. There is nobody out there. The independents need to take this country back.

  • After seeing this and looking at my own unemployment experiences, my final conclusions is this.

We are fools to turn anybody or any thing other than God fist then our selves for happiness or livelihood.

No person, company, community, or politician owes us a living

  • I know it can be shocking. I have very good qualifications in high level education and still here in Greece i cant find a job yet. I know people who lost their jobs in big engineering companies in the UK. it is estimated that the unemployment rate in Greece will reach 20% from 11.2% which is now. Thats what fucking IMF will cause . That Eurozone too is useless. Its going to collapse soon or later. Dont vote for anyone next time. Its part of the enslavement of people to banks.

  • My friend I am in the UK and lost my job with a building supply company when the recession first hit. I then gained another job after that with a Tool Supply company (after 6 months of searching), but was paid off from that after 9 months due to cutbacks.

I now find myself in a position where I have good work history, good references but I still do not hear back from any employers.

It is a horrible situation and I am experiencing the same feelings as you are at this moment in time. I feel you

  • @justabloke1 : Start your own business. Get people.

  • why is it that I have endless opportunities and he doesn't? I find myself turning down unemployment all the time because I can't keep up with all of the work. Even in the heart of the economy my ex-girlfriend quit her job and found a new one 2 days later. I just don't understand why he says he is looking for a job but can't find one.

  • this is what you do...when they don't call back, you call THEM. It's called doing your due diligence!

  • Promote the fishery than fighting the war. Eat the fish like the Japanese. The circulation of the life can be learnt and will be two birds a one stone.

  • ive ben unimployed since feb 2009 ive ben fillyin out apps none stop i lost my place have to live with my parents it is crazy i hope they extend it again or i mise well blow my brains out this shit sucks i fell like ill never be good enough or get teh chance to prove i can work hard i worked at nobility homes for 2 years im 20 now they closed down and layed everyone off this sucks

  • Hang in there my friend I can relate to your situation stay positive and disregard all the negative comments.

  • 37 millions americans are starving.

30 millions dont have a job.

    Yeah...the greatest nation on earth.

  • that sucks... even with the size of your portions wow... is that cos there not allowed welfare?

  • Make the corporations work for you!

  • no more sex for this man no money=no pussy

  • Don't worry, a big war is coming soon. there will be plenty of jobs

  • war=welfare

  • I hate to say this but you're right.

  • @browneyes4

you're probably right...they did it during the last depression. They will probably do the same for this GREATER depression.....wars will "bring back the jobs" at least temporarily. Oh, how we are one messed up country....keep repeating the mistakes of the past. Very sad state of this world.

  • @browneyes4 agreed a war will sort it all out

  • Not getting a call back or email after an interview is the worst. It's happening more and more and more.

Americans need to stop worshiping their political religion, and being slaves to the left/right paradigm. There is no left or right, we are all owned by our banking masters.

  • Finally, someone is getting it...yes, but if you can pay off that debt, or get out from under it you can set a new course. Hey, the banks got it all from most everyone anyway. You can tell its being run by new blood though, cause these little peckers forgot the num. 1 rule of domination: you never completely destroy hope. See you never take everything, or your victims have nothing to keep coming back for. We are all approaching freedom...be of ggod cheer...a new age is upon us. Dont be afraid.

  • @biped19 A friend of mines mother works in HR for a pretty sized company and said when she would review online applications, which could be so overwhelming, that on Mondays she would only take ten a day and review. Rather shrewd I thought. Theres an option to select applicants and put them on an automated response from the company to the likes of "after careful consideration blah blah blah. Now how fucked is that?

  • @biped19 'the worst'? it's normal you dumb fuck, maybe not in america, i guess over there you get your asses wiped for you too...

  • @biped19 Which all sit in the synagogues...doesnt anyone catch on to the way things are true in the country?

  • @AssociatedPress

wow get over it unemployment in america? grab a gun point it at your failed bankers whether it be fannie may lehman bros or boa and pull the trigger what have u got to lose, they made u lose didn't they?

  • I have been self employed most of my life. Have pretty fair carpentry skills. Have been remodeling friends houses all year. Been a blessing for me and them. I'm getting by and they are getting a reduced labor rate. Had to live out of town 4 1/2 months earlier this year but it was well worth it.

  • 22 million : number of unemployed americans

20 million : number of illegal aliens

    WAKE UP AMERICA

  • Heads up... get to Florida to pick oranges.

They can only pay 5 bucks an hour so the orange juice remains cheap. If they pay more it will inflate the price. Some places they plant tomatoes... the wage is still about the same. You are welcome to get a job there. It will be a patriotic act because you will be helping america by keeping the living costs low.

  • yes but i heard i california pparticularly they rely on mexicans/hispanic etc for cleaning/cooking/gardening etc etc and a white person would never be considered for the job racist/elitist claptrap

  • @jannonymous Sorry to break it to you: But most 'illegal aliens' are American, too! Really, I'm serious. Break out a map. Mexico is part of America.

  • why do you put Illegal Aliens in quotes? Its simple they are illegally here, not citizens, thus Aliens. its not a subjective term.

  • too right. illegal is the first word, as in not documented. alien the second, as in foreign. If an American was in ANY other country and his/her papers ran up...deported and/or jailed. But now, not America...we are panzies. And that argument that we are all illegals or whatever....sorry, my family has been here since before the 1900's and fought in both WWs, Korea, Vietnam, and OIF/OEF so we are not illegals.

  • The only thing that has showed any improvement is wall st. Companies bolstered their profits by eliminating expenses (jobs) . Recovery cannot be sustained with 10% unemployment. Too many consumers have been eliminated. I am in those ranks. Lost my income, then most of my savings, then my home, then my health ins. In the process, my good credit. My only vehicle has 260000 miles and no way to replace it. There just aren't enough consumers left to fund a real recovery. That is the cold, hard truth!

  • so many ppl dont realize how close they are to being without a job and homeless.i hope i dont end up in tent city like so many have..hopefully you will get closer to God during this time in your life and he will direct your path....

  • get closer to god wtf

  • I've been bouncing from temping and unemployment for the past two and a half years now. Right now is the longest stint I've been unemployed. It's demoralising

  • Thank God Obama is here. I know Papi will take care of me. As long as we can continue to get abortions every thing will be OK. I know I'm being evicted and I'm having trouble feeding my 3 kids but I think It's my fault. I should have told my wife to get an abortion. Then we could live in a little trailer and not have to worry. Still, I know Obama will save us. He is the smartest man ever. He as done the impossible. Made good on all his promises. Ask anybody. Its true. I wove you Obami wami.

  • dont worry, your son will be gay too. Theyre teaching him all about it in school. Its 'natural' and 'good'. then we wont even need abortions.

animal rights but no fetus rights? wtf?

  • I guess Zacarias Moussaoui was right when he said that America would be destroyed militarily and ECONOMICALLY!

  • Its Difficult times but there's always other options

  • In 2 years, you won't even recognize this country. Harder times are ahead.

  • hang in there man good luck

  • hang in there ma good luck

  • Out of work since May 2008. Devastated is the right word. We are in a massive paradigm shift in the economy. The fairy tale we were living, is not coming back. The old rules no longer apply. Jazzing up your resume will not help. There will be no jobs for most of us. Think outside the box, because the box is gone. Study Japans economy after 1990, and the fall of the USSR, to see what lies ahead for US. You must create ideas to get what you need to live. Family/friends are vital.

  • I'm unemployed too. I've been unemployed for nearly 9 months now. It's so hard, and you get discouraged sometimes. It's just so awful out there.

  • hello

  • well i just lost my job three weeks ago, i understand your pain, its really hard. i dont know how you are doing right now but youre not alone

  • 22% of england is unemployed as well.

  • I'm hoping I can help as many people as possible here. Finding a job nowadays is not easy granted, but there are great opportunities if you know where to look.

Check out my channel for one fantastic and most importantly fully genuine opportunity.

    Thanks for your time.

  • When the savings are all gone and you still can't get a job (because about 1.4 billion Chinese are doing for pennies what you did for dollars) I hope you still have your health. Many lose that too along with their ability to pay for medical insurance.

  • I sincerely hope this man is ok. I've been unemployed for 54 weeks (aside for a few odd jobs picking weeds, working at a flea market - I was making 72,000 as a Hedge Fund Analyst). I'm barely able to function anymore I'm so depressed and ruined.

  • gee its really harsh they do a credit check in America before getting a job.

  • Perhaps the saddest observation at this point in time, is to see the millions of commenters, the eulogizers and all of the "concerned" citizens out here on youtube who're lamenting the death of Michael Jackson.

The slow and painful death of the American financial system hasn't gotten a tenth of a percentage point of coverage out here, when considering the staggering contrast in the number of those having something to say at all, about anything. This IS truly, a sad state of affairs.

  • People take this sort of thing personal. I lost my job and was unemployed for 9 months. I got another one with the federal government . I had saved a lot of money and thats what I lived on until I received that other job.

  • They take it personal creoloelady because they lose their jobs in a terrible economic environment and despite their best efforts cannot find another one. Then they lose their ability to pay for insurance and then their health. What do these people do? That's nice you managed to get a job (I'm sure you claimed minority status for the extra points on the applications and were put ahead of non-minorities for the same government job) to take care of yourself but many cannot.

  • I did'nt claim minority status or anything like that. When I filled the application, there was no mentioned of what my race was. I got that job based on my experiences and education. I don't know why white people think that. All I am saying is that when people loose their jobs-its for a number of reasons-some may not even be the persons fault. Thats what I mean by not taking it personal. Americans have a sense of entitlement. You have no control

  • My apologies ma'am. I'm glad you found work. So many have not. I am unemployed and have been for three years despite a serious job search. I also developed bad arthiritis but had no medical care because I had spent my 401ks and savings surviving over long term unemployment while looking for work and lost my medical insurance because I couldn't afford to pay for it and my left hand deformed as a result leaving me partially disabled (which isn't good enough for any benefits whatsoever). We suffer.

  • The traunces of mortgage pool investors, lenders, underwriters, brokers, and yes real estate agents set up and took part in the liar loans. They got greedy. And then told the media that it's home owners doing all the lying.. We're all going under due to this. I'm losing my savings and home due to a liar loan. I lost my job. But I'm posting what ever I can to fight.

    "SPREAD THE WORD"

Do not read any articles unless they provide a comment section. Communication and truth is all we have

  • It is a really sad situation to be unemployed. I myself have thoughts of getting drunk all day and have to fight that. .

One of the things I hate it that I have to fabricate the truth now on my resume and in person. I have made up an entire experience that never happened.

I got hold of my brother in law who does community dev work and sat there for a week observing what he does.then I will say I did all that for years, Its sad but being unemployed leaev me no choice. IT is that or the botl

  • I feel bad for him. Someone also better keep an eye on this guy as I can see him "going postal" one day.

  • all those jobs are gone forever and not coming back

  • If you voted for Bush, you deserved it. If you did not, keep it up.....

  • great vid. i wish i could make one. been loking for work for seven months now in portland oregon ex military no criminal record. fast food wouldn't even take me. i'll be homless by the end of this month i am 24 years old. I'll see if i can make it if not i think i will be killing myself.

  • Well, I hope you find a job soon. Killing yourself would make your family and friends totally miserable. Job problems are cyclical and usually get better.

  • i'm 40 and living with my mom.i havent had a job for a year and a half

  • I'm 36 and half living with my mom half with my fiance (she's struggling in a min. wage sucky job). Mom and finance paying my bills (she doesn't make much) because I got wiped out. Been out of work for 2 years except a 4 month temp job ended last July. Now my credit is ruined and employers decline me due to that. I was in Finance, hedge funds. I'm totally screwed!!! Totally devastated

  • lonewolf12052- I can empathise. I too am long term unemployed and here in the UK, a lot of self righteous ignorant people tar us all with the same brush because they refuse to look at the facts. Its very difficult. But suicide is not the answer.

  • don't kill yourself. I've felt that. I'm 36 out of work basically 2 years. Worked in Finance (ex-Nat'l Guard also). Same deal here in Arizona - NOTHING, no jobs, only medical and some telesales. I feel hopeless and destroyed everyday.

  • we need to organize... make a political force. thats what they dont want to happen. why do you think they prefer illegal aliens? they cannot organize, they have no rights, they are not citizens.

  • i really think they are out to disenfranchise everyone into hopelessness. and last week my son took a picture of a guys ass and i pay taxes and child support for this on top of being unemployed? this really sucks. im rapidly becoming militant...sometimes im glad 911 happened with exception to the innocent that died. this country and world has taken a turn for the worse for sure.

  • if youre not getting militant at this point youre blind.

  • You dont need a job to survive. Become self sufficient, grow and hunt your own like we used to.

  • fuck work! ive been made redundant 6 fucking times. .so i decided to live carefully, i cycle now SOD the motor car! i dont get bank loans, i dont have silly high aspirations, i just live carefully. i refuse to allow the system to milk me and give me the run around! and they get fuck all out of me! ha ha

  • This guy needs to start abusing some sort of substance!

  • Mr Capelle believes he has a god given right to a job, nothing could be further from the truth.

  • Quit feeling sorry for yourself, get off your ass, and do what it takes.

  • Time to get on a 1099 and start a business buddy!

  • Only 9 out of 10 businesses make it buddy! Plus you don't get up and start a business for the sake of starting a business.. If it were that easy, we will all be millionaires..

  • You obviously just have a middle class mindset. I'm so sorry for you!

  • Middle class mindset huh? I know people with an upper class mindset, who are neck deep in debt for being naive.. Now, go read "Think And Grow Rich"

  • That's an amazing book. I've read the millionaire next door and it makes so much more sense to live frugally. I know a guy who is retired navy who's net worth exceeds over a million and he drives a 1990 Camry.

  • 32 years at the same job and no pension, savings or paid-off mortgage?

  • thank Bush for your loss shipping all our jobs to Mexico and China

  • Thank Mr. Clinton too. He was instrumental in pushing the NAFTA treaty through. And no, I don't like (nor ever have liked) either the Clinton's or the Bush's.

  • on December 17, 1992 to officially sign NAFTA. U.S. President George H.W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and Mexico's President Carlos Salinas, each responsible for spearheading and promoting the agreement,

    what did clinton do?

  • Clinton sold it to the American People & the Congress with one of the most concentrated & expensive media campaigns in modern history. It was a snowjob. He was responsible for pushing heavily for its passage - and indded got it passed, & signed into law - hailing it as a victory for the American People.. Here's a copy of the White House Press Release from the Office of the Press Secretary dated 9/13/93 that contains his words verbatim:

    h ttp://multied.c om/documents/Clinton/SigningNaFTA.html

  • The NAFTA agreement (which is a treaty) was signed into law in the U.S. on December 8, 1993 by President Bill Clinton and went into effect on January 1, 199

  • remember folks our military is over run with street gangs looking for a new form of power and they found it in military weapons,if you think they want use these weapons on you then you believe they want sale your kids drugs...you better wise up to what is going on that the news will not tell you....or die not knowing

  • thank bush for the hedge fonds devastating europe.

  • Don't worry..

We can just sit and wait for rescue....

  • Damn, I've worked 16 years for my current employer, and I have one week left before I'm laid off.

  • i feel for you buddy. who's your employer?
