I mean no offence,but how come the Canadian Armed Forces who served in WW2 are never seperated from the British forces when it comes to WW2(and I mean no offence to the British,my Dad served over 5 yrs and made many good friends).All the allied forces suffered horrendous casualities(including over 74,000 Canadians)so we "All" did our part

to beat the Facsist's and we all should be proud.Thanks for your time and here is hoping that there is never another war.

Yep, we would i have launched Operation Lightning (i think that is what it was called) and another operation on Japan. We would've lost another million of soldiers but Japan would've been ours.

Japan was being strangled long before the A bomb was functioning. Also, with Germany defeated in May 1945, Stalin was due to unleash the Red Army on the pacific front. (He did in China) Japan might have inflicted great casualties on the allies but they would have been crushed. As for Japanese 'honour', tell it to the POWs starved, beaten, beheaded, buried alive. Tell it to Nanking where they massacred 300,000 in 6 weeks, tell it to China who lost 10 million people to the 'Honourable' Japanese.

Correct...but you are *understating* your case. According to Max Hastings' "Retribution", the death toll of Chinese civilians from the J army atrocities reached FIFTEEN MILLION. Add another FIVE MILLION dead civilians throughout the rest of Asia.

And alot of this footage was used in the movie "Midway" which was, for it's time, a very well made movie and accurate depiction of this event.

Nagumo dropped the ball at pearl by leaving the oil storage tanks in tack...or the pacific fleet would have been grounded....he kicked the ball by using new recruits to destroy midway and needed a second attack...and the ball popped when he was arming them with bombs for a second wave, and got caught with his planes re-arming and re-fuelling on there decks...OOPS
