  • Very Nice Brookie. And a trout taking a popper is no different than it taking a large Dry Fly. The popper's main purpose is immitating a struggling bug on the water surface(At least the smaller ones). It is a more active way to fish than letting a dry fly drift with the current.

  • nice brookie you got there, I caught a trout on a popper once, but I was fishig for bass and this trout came up and hammered it, it was a 2 pound rainbow. but great work there
