A comment and a suggestion: First, one of the arrows was supposed to light up to warn drivers of the direction of the approaching train. Also, if you re-do this, could you remove the slow moving Union Pacific locomotive (which never would have been seen there) and replace it with a graphic of the old City of New Orleans train, at about 10 times the speed? Great job, though!

Dkelzenb is correct. The arrow was supposed to light up or flash the direction of the train.
Also, if you redo this, you may want to put a Illinois Central train (or Canadian National as they bought out IC).
