I wonder if merchandise ordered from Tokyo is even safe? Curious if there is any risk of radionuclide material, particles, or contamination of any kind being present upon the merchandise itself or even within the mailing packaging it arrives within? Difficult to get "honest", erudite advice about such anywhere. Seems to me that radioactive nuclide particulate matter can still be present upon almost anything from Tokyo, etc.?

@ 0:48 we can see that X-ray film picked up (at least from this viewing) no visible hot particles in Seattle. Is that maybe a clue that the dose there at the time was approx normal background?

Maybe if you get back to FukuFallout videos you can test any more higher-dose rain samples *over time* to find the decay rate.

...my very crude findings regarding a a small sampling of Automotive Air Filters from BC & Northern Alberta do indicate similar findings as mentioned with levels rarely higher than 2X background.

~ Variables must be factored in when comparing Japanese Filter from North American must encompass the difference in style and performance in regards to the self cleaning effect on large particles (which don't travel) of the various filter designs which vary widely between Domestic and Japanese design

I appreciate the video. Your last point is noted. It wasn't the EPA that collected data but private citizens. If fact, I've read the EPA turned their monitors OFF. My question is why has this story been ignored by media in the US? It's blatantly intentional. Is it the NRC? The White House? Let's not forget all of the media coverage of other disasters (tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanos) and our pledged 'support' for them. Not a word about this from our "leaders". WHY??! Thank you Arnie.
