Ok, guys(and girls), think about creation like a bet. The stakes are your life, and your soul. If there isn't a God and you give your life to this "brainwashing" then all you dud was waste your life. But, if there is a God and you don't believe then you have doomed your soul. I personally would rather err on the side of caution and say that there is a God!

@snowcrusher7 How is it the side of caution? If there's not a God, then you've "wasted" (your words not mine) the only life you're going to get. Life on Earth is certain. You know it's real, and you have it. But "eternal life" is theory. Thunder, shining stars and reproduction are all scientific processes.I know those explanations aren't romantic, but they're proven. Think about this, do you lend money to people you've never (actually) seen, heard or touched?

Then why give them your life?

@MeandmySara hang on a minute guys. Snowcrusher misquoted what's known as Pascal's Wager. It's not about "eternal fire insurance." It's only about if God exists or not. So if God exists and you believed, then you understood the foundational truth of the universe and knew the Creator personally. But if there is no God, then you were wrong but it isn't really important. In fact if God doesn't exist it really isn't important to be right about anything.

none of my family are christian, non of my friends. evrywhere i look there isnt anybody influencing my thoughts. exept Jesus. so who is brain washing me? you could say God is brain washing me, but u dont believe in him. if u did beleive in God, ou wouldnt call it brain washing, ud call it love.when nobody else accepts me, when i dont want to live anymore, Jesus pulls me through.

The closest of my friends, though, were all atheists...

God saved me and now I'm back with Him, on the right path(God willing??) I'm so thankful...!

Just came back from a Creation Youth Retreat, it went AMAZING.  The Word, and Truth and Science is getting out there! Keep people like John Higgins in prayer! There are lots of Creation Scientists trying to get the word out there!!

Science and creation is always tricky, but it's awesome that there are ways to combine them that really make sense. Good stuff. :D

I could say the same to you...I don't feel that I'm lying to myself, that's the point of real belief. I think a lot about what I believe...It's not like Christians never ask questions and sometimes find themselves not believing in any of it. That's the amazing thing, that God holds on to us even if we reject him...in the end, neither of us can tell what is a lie and what is truth :)
