Well after years of joking with the wife about deep frying a turkey she called my bluff and gave me a turkey fryer for xmas. So I had to try it. On the up side the house didn't burn down and it did come out very tasty. On the down side after buying 4 gallons of cooking oil and getting the propane it was the most expensive turkey we ever ate.
