  • IF YOU LOVE THIS ERA/STYLE OF MUSIC, YOU'LL LOVE MY

ORIGINAL JAZZ SONG, "Something And Marvelous".

PLEASE CHECK OUT MY VIDEO !

    thanks !

  • What a nice song to make of a child rapist.

  • @UnclePutte WHATTT???????

  • @gerwazjana

It was a part of the original poem. They excluded it for the song, of course.

  • @UnclePutte what's the name & author?

  • @gerwazjana Berthold Brecht's Mack the Knife

  • I looked up 'perfection' in the dictionary and there was a hyperlink to this song.

  • mmh I`m good looking babe

  • i defiantly hear Dean Martin..

  • TUNE!!!

  • ehm Lets rock baby

  • I love how they acknowledge all the past jazz artists who sang this song. Really gives me that nostalgic feeling. This is what I would call "good music"

  • Nice Song!!!!

  • Jimmy Buffett?...

  • There is no difference between Frank and todays Ganster rap in so much as the huge undeniable mafia connection.not that I am saying that he is anything but the best.Oh and Gangster is for the gutters.

  • Their voices are so velvety and seductive <3

  • I would like to see an artist like Lil Wayne pull off this song. Great song but I think a modern version would b epic.

  • @TheyCallThemFingers Who the f*** is Lil Waynee and how can he sing better then sinatra??!!! You better lock your door, call the law and remove your stupid comment... \:-|

  • @ahkralj Epic use of song lyrics there bud :3 Keep up the good work ^.^

  • @ahkralj lil wayne is a nigger and frank would curb stomp him

  • @TheyCallThemFingers That is the most disgusting comment I have ever seen.

  • @TheyCallThemFingers bite ur tongue, dont give them ideas

once a song is heard, it cant be unheard

  • @TheyCallThemFingers

    This Version is "epic"

  • @TheyCallThemFingers Robbie Williams did an awesome version of this song a cupel of years ago... look it up =) its great!

  • @Lumberjackz2012 (No it isn't!)

  • Ok, i'm just gonna say my opinion:

    1. Best version of the song - Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Buffet (tough Sammy Davis would have been better)

    2. Louis Armstrong's version

    3. Bobby Darin's version

  • Band is really swinging hot.

  • music

  • the original gangster musi

  • is this on i-tunes?

  • Holy $hit!! What A Sound Wall!!!!

  • Tha bras makes my arm hair stand straight up.

  • well i enjoyed this!

  • i'm generation 1996...people at my school think i have an awful music taste but i know a good song when i hear it and this one is it not those shit pop song that we hear today

  • @CxerRy96 im the same age and people think the same of me

  • @CxerRy96 same age as you mate but thankfully i go to a music school so i have some people with the same taste in music

  • @CxerRy96 same here, same year, same situation :D

  • @CxerRy96 just a little bit of the world has a good music taste

  • @CxerRy96 Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis & the rest of the rat pack were true legends in their own right. The music, the singing are just amazing & people will listen to thier songs and music for years to come.

Todays music, though there are some good groups and songs out there, there music will fade over time and they will be no not be worthy of the title legends.

Why should you follow the incrowd & listen to the crap they listen to. Be individual & be proud of being individual.

  • Gross

  • @wing8366 gtfo u piece of shit coming on a sinatra video saying Gross.

  • Sinatra's voice was already gone clearly. He should have done this song 30 years earlier.

  • @SNGoncalo you are an ass

  • @SNGoncalo wtf u talking about he clearly sounds awesome

  • @MasacruRo Obviously you don't listen to much Sinatra, otherwise you'd be just as disappointed as us.

  • @RyderRocks73 Why do you say "us" you're the only faggot whining about that and I listened to all of his albums, also for your own knowledge this song sounds fucking good. You obviously never liked Sinatra for what he sung and was since you whine bout such a thing which to me it's not bad one bit, still sounding awesome.

  • @MasacruRo Dude, I'm just saying this isn't a good reflection of Sinatra's talent. He was only saying that he should've sang this song when he was younger and then it would've been great. In my opinion, Bobby Darin's version is the best, please don't attack somebody just because they don't like a Sinatra song.

  • @RyderRocks73 just to prove you otherwise with the part of your comment saying " Otherwise you'd be just as disappointed at us" Which US is in your head, read the top most rated comment THE best version of this song (in my opinion)

    fragranceman88 3 months ago 31 thumbsup .

  • excelllllant,,,my main,,

  • Kick Ass Version!

  • I wish I lived in the 21th Century with the style of de '70

  • Frank, what were you thinking?

  • You better lock your door and call the law

  • This is sooo cool!!!

  • Wowie!

  • Listening to this, you'd almost forget this forget song was once about a muderous creep and his grissliest deeds (let alone far more graphic in its depiction), and not a cocktail hour fantasy about being a swinger.

  • 1956 FRANK-SAMMY-DEAN-JUDY -LOUIE ARMSTRONG--BELAIRE'S-COCKTAILS -WHAT -BOBBY DARIN--I AM READY FOR MY 1 FINGER OF BOOZE--I WISH THAT WAS MY TIME--2011 MEAN ROTTEN PEOPLE--SHOOT --FRANK U-R SO SEXY AND FRANK WOW-NO ONE IS LIKE YOU---YEAH---

  • Beggars Opera! <3

  • love how the song builds up from a piano to full orchestra during the course of the song even if the melody is the same(Its a really beautiful melody so I don't care ^_^)

  • @Firekevins They absolutely did.

  • @Firekevins I do believe you are wrong, Listen VERY carefully.

  • fantastic duo *(*-*)*

  • This just make me want to get up and dance! Love the way all these other vocalist are given credit in performing this piece. I have loved every one of the covers of this song.I

  • @Firekevins are you stupid they say there names in the song

  • love(:

  • Love that intro!

  • amazing ... no words .... in times when entertainment really meant something ....

  • Ol' Blue Eyes did it alright but when it comes to Old Mackie, the line forms behind Bobby D. Way behind. C'mon, posers, move to the right, move to the right. Look out!

  • @belliose You are SO right! Just listened to Ella, Louis and now Sinatra. No one touches Bobby Darin on this song. Also Buble'. He was just boring. WTG BOBBY!

  • @keetonplace you are so right about buble,i think someone watched bobby darin and invented the word coooool

  • 41 people are deaf from listening to bad music to know what good music is

  • 40 people do not know who Mack the Knife is

  • Jimmy Buffet for sure. Anyone who thinks this is Sammy has never Sammy sing! This is Jimmy Buffet.

  • Where do we go from here?

  • This is, by FAR, the greatest version. By the way, it's Frank & Sammy, NOT Jimmy Buffett.

  • @charismaticlee thank you for clarifying sammy instead of jimmy its not the rat pack without sammy

  • @charismaticlee nope, this is definitely Frank & Jimmy, no doubt!

  • The new ERA ;)

  • As a Frank fan and believing that JB live at the BAy is amazing, i have to say this is fucking lack lustre. Or, SHIT in simple terms. Go buy Bobby Darin's version, or even King Kurts is better than this.

    Mikey xx

  • @mikeystrafford your a fucking faggot, hahahahah gay hahahaha

  • @mikeystrafford who are you a piece of shit from hoboken that frank never kicked a few dollars to?

  • i like how the refer to armstrong and darin

  • I'm a fan of both Frank and Jimmy. Although I would never have considered them doing any song together, after hearing this I wonder why they didn't do it more.

  • THE best version of this song (in my opinion)

  • @Fillistar I have to give it to Bobby Darrin.

  • @TheJuunit21 Phew! I was beginning to feel alone for a moment - lol

    Mikey xx

  • Am a fan of Armstrong's version, but this is good, too. Thanx.

  • 39 people are for that weight, dear.

  • Brilliant.

  • 39 people aren't human.

  • the original is a german song anyway so its neither buffet or sinatra

  • Man, Im gonna say this. Darin's and this one are top notch, no doubt. This one is more jazzed up, and Darin's is..well Darin's. But I still to this day cant call it. Armstrong's is good but doesn't match up, and Ella should have never tried

  • @Benkotter Gay aiken lol that no talent fag couldn't hold Franks nutsack

  • why is it so hard to accept that it is buffet

  • i dont think it matters who its by we should just enjoy it

  • I've seen Buffett live over 40 times, he's definitely not on this recording.

  • greatest recording of this song sinatra is the king

  • Thats Sinatra and Dean Martin ....Jimmy Buffet is a left wing Commie pinko faggot ..these two woulda put buffet in concrete shoes and throwed him in the gulf of mexico

  • @jwagon28 you ignoramus. That's Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.

  • @Benkotter It may be wayne newton and clay aiken!!

  • Buffett does a great cover of this great classic song! This guy he's singing with though sucks...probably just some bum from the club he was playing at that staggered up on stage. Jimmy should have just done it by himself...

  • I love me some Bobby Darin, but this will always be my favorite recording of Mack the Knife.

  • The magic of the Chairman of the Board.

  • Who is singing? Buffet?? What does Buffet have to do with a song like this? lol

  • not as good as frankie sorry

  • The best version of mack the knife without a doubt, although the first few times i heard this version i couldnt tell who was singing with frank, odd combo but it works.

  • @JMcLovn i meant not as good as bobby

  • 38 people here are stupid and don't know what good music is! Frank forever!!!

  • pure class

  • sorry. this is a song that belongs to Bobby Darren.

  • @zzyyxxo he gives him a shout out

  • 36 bad cats were here.

  • 35 arseholes. The End.

  • How can 31 people dislike this tune? They may prefer other versions but this is still fine. A friend of mine booked JB early in his career and Jimmy never forgot it. They were friends until my friends death, to which JB sent flowers. I once asked Jimmy about this song. He said that he was scared s#1tless. But, that Frank was very understanding. I always remember that. They are both great talents. But, much as I love JB I don't think he will make the cover of Time when he dies.

  • that's swinging .... pretty teethe dear ;)

  • frankie blue

  • Best duo ever to sing this song !!

  • i think there's like 35 people who doesnt know anything about music.... i mean lady ella, bobby n luis they rck... but old blu eyes...dude, how is it possible that someone could dislike his charm.... shame on you people go and play ur justin bieber cds...

  • @pelo83 may bee it´s a political answer from consevativ´s and there fear of comunism, on the other hand may bee comunists they dont want this kind of swing in this song

  • Real music for real people

  • Louis all the way. But this is good too.

  • this is good.....good in the way the spirits intended it too be good :)

  • Honestly... I still like Mac Tonight's version.

  • I don't think there's a version of this song that isn't good. But, as I'm a huge Buffett fanatic, this is certainly my favorite. Thanks so much for this compilation so I can share it with my friends :)

  • Their version of the lyrics adds such a delightful surprising twist! I love it.

  • bobby darin did a better version

  • Fan-blummin-tastic!! xx

  • old blu eyes was a cool cat ! = ) Mike

  • Simplesmente fantástico

  • that band is amazing, one of my fav versions, ive always like franks version by himself more though

  • This song, mack the knife was actually written by Kurt Weill for a threepenny opera in Germany/Austria in the 1800's. Love this version and Ella's too! -3

  • @Jezzikuhrxo

Actually it was neither in the 1800s nor in Austria. The Dreigroschenoper was written by Brecht & Weill and shown for the first time on August 31, 1928 in Berlin. First singer of Die Moritat von Mackie Messer was Kurt Gerron. The song became popular after the 1931 film version with Ernst Busch as singer of the Moritat.

Ernst Busch sings here (1931 movie scene)

Kurt Gerron sings here (probably around 1930)

  • @Jezzikuhrxo Had a slightly different name then though, but definately true.

  • Duets - must have album

  • How did thirty four people manage to miss the like button?

  • @notaraptor because it's not so got performance on account of Sinatra

    very disappointing

  • @tnb35 Sinatra's delivery is excellent till he tries a little too hard before the end. I'd hardly say it's very disappointing, just not quite perfect. The timbre of his voice early in the song is amazing.

  • its the bigband.... da mn they are good

  • This IS Bobby Darin's song and his alone.

  • @MsBedwell Dude, this is a TRIBUTE to Bobby Darin, Louis Armstrong, Lady Ella and much more people, who have sung this

  • @MsBedwell But Louis Armstrong sung it before him and some german orchestra before him... But yes Bobby Darin's version is phenomonal

  • Louis Armstrong was a great man and he sung and then frank sinatra sings it and he is also a great man

  • jesus christ, tht guys trumpet must be crying!

  • @justbieber

This is how you be successful with (real) women. ; )

Don't go around selling your small penis to little girls!

  • LOL. On the comments of the Bobby Darin version, people kept commenting, "Sinatra's version is better!" I'm checking the comments on here, and people are saying, "Darin's version is better!" They're both good!

  • OMG thats really the best version of this song! i love it <3

  • i love this song

  • For some reason I like this song about a serial killer ? Bonnie

  • real gangster music

  • @Sandmanjohn amen

  • always liked jimmy

  • cause of the band i would say this is the best version out there now although bobby might have sung it better but i also love the harmonies in this version

  • What about Ella Fitzgerald version_ I think she rules...

  • @caloy5000 King Frank and Queen Ella.

  • This song sounds like "A Guy Like You" from hunchback of notre dame

  • Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Buffett did a great job on Mack the Knife, but Louis Armstrong will alwys own this song.

  • thought bobby darin was the original but i reckon ella fitzgerald did the best version .

  • Kevin Spacy does a great job with this song,,, awsome

  • @michaelpriest ..I say the same..!! the best is play by Kevin Spacey

  • I prefer the Bobby Darin version.

  • absolute classic, never be forgotten

  • WTF... where´s Jimmy in this song????

  • @1339LARS Mate, can't you hear the difference!?
