I think this particular style of dancing was called California/West Coast. Didn't see it much on the other teen shows in the Sixties. Not my preference, either.
Good song, but the babes gotta go. There's 3 chicks fake playing with guitars and a drum and then there's the dancer/lol in the back. Yikes! Who thinks of these lame videos? Leave the girls out! But, thanks for posting this.
Brilliant - love it. Could listen to and watch Mike Smith all day. Don't understand why songs like this one don't get more air play. There are Radio stations out there still playing 60's music. Radio 2, GEM am, Smooth, Heart et al - are you taking note???
@SixtiesPopGold - You sure its from "Live at TJ's"? I have that show and I don't remember this set. Then again I haven't looked at my copy in some years.
Super ....thanks for posting this what a find...one of my favorite DC5 tunes should have gotten more air play...but still a treasure...this group was all class.... you never heard anything bad about them only good....great memories....
@MrArnold1972 I was around in the 60's.....born in '55. DC5 was second to the Beatles....they always be as my faves next to The Fabs. This video I never seen before, and it is LIVE singing which was VERY rare for a film in the 60s.
This song was much better than the charts reflected. I had read that when they did this song, they thought it would get as much play as Because, another slow song.
They played Come Home in the concert I saw of them and it was really better live. This was one of the few groups back then that were as good ,if not better, live on stage.

I like this mix better because it has more solo vocals from Mike.
Like the ladies on drum and bass.

a lovely song.
should have been a mike smith solo really but very nice none the less.
i was born in the 70s and yet somehow i can feel like i was in the 60s.
this is a forgotten era that will never be repeated.
