In Flames, Soilwork, August Burns Red, Blinded Colony, Trivium, and bits and pieces from other random bands...As I Lay Dying back in the day was an influence but not anymore I kinda got over them.

I use 11 gauge strings...I definitely recommend getting used to those if you're gonna be in lower tunings.

i use 9 gauge strings they work just fine in lower tunings for me.
