the original famous tamparuli hanging bridge was near the current dispensary near the town mosque. but it was destroyed by a big flood many years ago...
Thanks for the good piece of information. That will help where and what to look for next time when go there next time. About how many years ago you were talking about that big flood?
This is actually a very nice composition! I wasn't aware of it being declared as a national folk song and to hear it in Chinese is totally amazing! Well done and thank you for uploading the video. :)
hi all. im happy when people know that this 'jambatan tamparuli' origin sang by Justin Lusah, my dad. only that people keep in changin the music and lyric without permission. kesian lah my dad.
Changin' da music... yeah. Changin' da lyrics? Never noticed that one.. They shouldn't have done so. Except you meant people translated the lyrics, that I do know of. But don't worry... None of those remake beats your father's original composition. :)
I too wish the same as boogetman... "Man! I wish certain of things in this world are never changed :( "
Yes boogetman, for me I understand your intentions earlier... "is far-reaching for the audience in other nations. " I have nothing against translated lyrics or improvised music neither, as long as they give credits to the original singer. :)
Leneyuki, I thought all the artists nowadays who do remakes of your father's song had permissions, if not, don't you have the rights to file lawsuits against them? That is really sad. :(
hi leneyuki. is ur dad Mr Justin Lusah..? well then it's nice to meet the daughter here. this song will stay evergreen as long as it lives. pls add me ya. i think u'll be surprise if u know my background. btw awesome video =)
yeah, i know... i live here. i refer 'the original...' as the 1st bridge which Justin Lusah sang of.. this is the rebuild for sure. but NEway, it's still Jambatan Tamparuli. :)
