the performance is awesome after the last firmware update.
I've got 744 performance points (AS SSD benchmark).
There are no noticeable performance drops if the drive gets full (a big sandforce[e.g. the vertex of OCZ] problem...).
very good value for money

Does the laptop comes with a PCIe or WWAN slot in which one can add a mSata or mini card SSD? Like in Lenovo X220 or W520 models?

@hrishikeshac That's a good question...not that I know of but I might be wrong. Time to open the unit again to confirm.

@hrishikeshac I have opened it again and I can confirm that there is no visible PCIe or WWAN slot in this Vostro. I think they reserve that for the more expensive models, I have an E6520 that provides a WWAN slot but it is a lot more money.
