Ok here's what i dont get. If the maximals left as they did at the end of the Beast Wars, how come in Beast Machines, they dont remeber how they got back to cybertron?
Thus ends the Beast Wars, a wonderful spin-off of the classic G1 Tranformers series. It's a sham this ended so horrorably when Beast Meachines aired on Fox Kids.

I loved this episode. Especially the ending suggesting that Waspinator helped humanity technological. After being blown up soo many times, he deserved a happy ending.
Im still confuse, so the maximals and pretacons were back in time tryind to find their way back, right?, but what were they doing there in the first place. were they sent to stop megatron from ruling the universe? If so this means that the decepticons win the war in the future, right?
I think dinobot deserves a place in transformers history, cause without him maximals would've been destroy.
Megatron stole 2 gold disks that told the location of earth and about events that would happen. At first he only wanted energy, but then he decided to change history. The maximals were diverted from their mission to stop Megatron, and got pulled into the warp. Both sides got trapped on ancient earth. Preds became a repressed faction.
Sadly, the joy wouldn't last for Waspy - it's revealed during Beast Machines that the humans later revolted against him and he fled back to Cybertron, where Megatron put his spark into his motorbike-general, Thrust.
At the very end, the world planet is reformatted into a techno-organic paradise but Waspy is turned into a tiny wasp with Thrust's head... who is promptly swatted by Rattrap. Oh the indignitymand injustice. ;)
In my opinion, this fight between optimus and megatron is just disappointing. Optimus totally kicked megatron's mechanical butt many times during the beast wars, but of all the times megatron gets the chance to kicks optimus's butt, it has to be now?! And what happened when Rampage blew up? It seemed as if Transmetal 2 dinobot's personality changed to the original dinobot's. If Optimus wanted to save him, he should've just grabbed him and flew out.
Well, regarding the comment about Dinobot 2. There was a deleted episode when the original Dinobot's personality was downloaded and implanted it into Dinobot 2. Since Rampage's spark was still online, it cancelled out the personality traits. But when Rampage was destroyed the original Dinobot took over (watch Dinobot when Rampage is destroyed, he switches between the original and Transmetal 2) which would explain why he went back to the original Dinobot's.
there was a eposide planed called "Dark Glass" that has rattrip finds and then trying to download old Dinobots personality in to the new dinobot, but it was not made
Dark Glass wasn't released because Hasbro didn't have enough money (in that time), so they omitted that and an episode when G1 Ramjet, Dirge & Thrust awakens for fight against the Maximals
Well, Optimus was fighting both Megatrons instead of just the one this time. Megatron was boosted by the spark of the original while Optimus was on his own.
You FUCKING RULE! I got interested in the series again after it first aired less than a week ago, and BAM, here you have it just as I want to watch it. You're a freaking hero!
