When I listend to Hyorin in her 'Hurt' cover, I was amazed by her vocal range but when I listened to sunghee's 'Then It's done' I felt like I was dreaming, she has a voice of an angel. When she sings she takes you along with her as if she is telling you a story.

Hard to judge really. Her English singing is so shoddy in this vid that i can't tell if it's her singing that's unstable or if it's just because of her English. Taeng's english singing blows this away. Other vids of KSH i've seen don't seem any more impressive. Still, there is no doubt that she is a very good singer

She does pwn everyone out of all girlgroups. Im not being biased, but I think she is better than Taeyeon because taeyeon has a mid range through her vocals and it usually doesnt fit songs such as Mariah carey or Beyonce songs. Sunye and Yeun have a better range and I believe they can take the high notes pretty well. Compared to Park Bom, bom has a unique voice but Sunghee will out due her in any ballad.

@abercrombiexxxoooxxx She promised her parents before joining the group that she would continue to study hard while in the group. She failed her college entrance exam and so both her and her parents agreed it would be better for her if she left the group to continue studying.

it's sad but lets hope she'll be back after she graduates from college.

In actual fact KARA is possibly the strongest group all-round, vocally, but they lose out in terms of promotion/supporting boybands etc.
And yes, Sunghee would knock the sh*t out of bom any day.

she pwns EVERYONE out of any other korean idol girl group especially in kara, i think her vocals are like in another dimension compared to gyuri and seungyeon, who i consider "best" in kara now (though they don't stand a chance against the lead vocalist of for example snsd or wg)

She does pwn everyone out of all girlgroups. Im not being biased, but I think she is better than Taeyeon because taeyeon has a mid range through her vocals and it usually doesnt fit songs such as Mariah carey or Beyonce songs. Sunye and Yeun have a better range and I believe they can take the high notes pretty well. Compared to Park Bom, bom has a unique voice but Sunghee will out due her in any ballad.

@elleymax I wouldn't say that ;/ Taeyeon may have a really good voice but I think Nicole and Seungyeon fair well with Jessica and Tiffany. Hara isn't the best singer and Jiyoung does have a really good voice imo.

@elleymax Well if she was still with KARA, she would be around the same level as Taeyeon & Jessica of SNSD. KARA lost something HUGE. If her parents knew that KARA will become big like now, they would've never pull her out. It's all fate.

@uyenous Actually I'm pretty sure her dad would have still taken her out of Kara because her father didn't really want her to be a singer but a lawyer or something of that career. Plus if Sunghee was still in Kara then she wouldn't be able to get married to that guy she's going to get married to.

IF she was still with KARA, I can honestly say she would be the one to beat for the title of 'best female idol singer'. And this is coming from an SNSD fan. Maybe this video doesn't do complete justice. But watch some of her recent videos. They are like woooooahh. *silence*.

@chris2I40 no...she cant beat taeyeon.....taengo has much better technic to control her voice..and both of them are in the same age.....but taeyeon..was way a head of her..at that time...if you want to compared them..but she is good..cant denied it...if she stay longer in the business..then I think she would be better through time

usually i side with the parents when they say you should focus on studies rather than stardom (an example would be the wonder girls--since they dont really have talent, their songs are just famous cause theyre catchy) but in sunghee's case i think they made a big mistake. she actually has an incredible voice. its a real shame she had to leave ):

but there are still notes that she didn't reached so well..and some high notes were shouts..
but i still think she's good.. i hope she could come back to kara..it makes me remember their Brake It song and her high notes really amaze me..:)
