My heart is very saddened to see anyone that had to leave their home. I am in Iraqi, muslim and shia. I dream of in iraq where jews, christians and muslims can live side by side as they have done for more than a thousand years. I really wish to go to isreal now and talk to these iraqis and hear their stories of the old times.

I remember my dad talking about his Yahoodi friends, and the good times they had, how they played, went to school and worked together, before the conspiracy of Farhood. Iraq is not complete without it's Jews. I am Ani but grew up in Baghdad, there were lots of Yahood in Anah. Where are they now? I wish I can talk to some of them.

@Iraqishereef Very true!! majority of people in baghdad were iraqi jews.Back then iraqi jews in iraq were not a small group of people.Iraqi jews from all parts of iraq made a lot.Even iraqi christians couple of decades ago made around 10% to 14%.So i am sure jews probably made around that amount.But of course jews left their mesoptamian homeland and iraqi christians decreased in numbers because many have been leaving iraq since 1900's.

Thanks for sharing this clip.. Many new Iraqi Generation does not know that there was a huge Iraqi Jewish community lived in Iraq long time ago.. We as iraqis muslims or chrisian or whatever religion we belong to should put a spot light on the iraqi jewish community and educate our kidds about that. A very beautiful video. Thank you very much for sharing it. It just brought tears to my eyes. They reminded me of the good times of Iraq. Their beautiful songs are the very same ones that my parents used to sing. The old names of the streets they mentioned (they are changed now) carry so many memories. Very beautiful and friendly people whom I would like to meet and talk to and tell them that we didn't forget them. My father told me beautiful stories about his Jewish friends.

You all come across as a warm and genuine humans, it is sad to see Iraqi Jews away from their home, I hope that the day will come when Iraq settles down and a true democracy is istablished, where people are never judged by their ethnic or religios beliefs.
