i don't think its poosible within the game unless you mod it. The camera angles can be edited in a mod but the current game doen't allow 1st person view. you can still zoom in on a unit using the mouse wheel. I have seen first person view in c&c3 mods but not c&c4 because sdk wasn't released.

I don't mind crazy-over-the-top-bat-shit-in­sane unit designs. It adds a nice flavour to games and Red Alert 3 pulled that off. But why did EA have to implement it here. Tiberium was the serious saga, whereas Red Alert was the crazy cousin. Why did they have to ridicule the Tiberium saga with this. It is not like they are going to run out of money to make a new Red Alert. I mean, that laser sounds like it was made by Matell and most vehicles look like juiced up matchbox cars.

The Realistic part i like about TS is that they imagine the world of tiberium so well that they event included weather and natural disaster into the game. Rather than building massive army of tanks, there are times when you need to improvise with limited resources to win the game like using Hijacker! Love that guy!

I still prefer the Cyborg Commando in Tiberium Sun (TS) better. It is much more deadlier and organic. Though technology has improved after all these years C&C4's units still looks STIFF (like playing action figure) to me and more cyberpunk.

Since C&C3 the tiberium has has only single use. unlike the old days units can regenerate or dies when stepping on it, explode on the blue Tiberium and i miss the Tiberium creatures!!

@Superfrycook on C&C 2, cyborg commando fires plasma spheres instead of lazer. it may miss fast moving targets. losing legs causes unit to recover half of its hp, drop to half speed and half as firepower compaired to fully functional cyporg commando. it can be healed to full hp, but it doesnt recover allready lost legs.

C&C2 cyborg cannot hijack vehicles, no matter it's current condition. Hijacker is used instead. tough only one can be placed by single player. captured unit counts as hijacker.
