pravda it would be more commonly used kolo, auto, letadlo...bicikel is more slovak.

As a Czech I have to say that we use more 'letadlo' instead of 'letoun'
'auto' instead of 'automobil'
'kolo' instead of 'bicykl'
These terms - letoun, automobil, bicykl are book terms, not used in normal speech. Kolo = wheel and bicycle at the same time.
