  • whys he call it sasisquatch lmao?

  • mua mah mua mah MUA MAH!!!!

  • THIS MOVIE IS TERRIBLE LMAO

  • "Hey boys are you wanting to go bigfooting, well get the heck in vehicle, lets rock and roll" too funny but look like a good friday night dvd movie to watch.

  • Yeehawww!! I done see's me a bigfoot fellas! Woooooo! Wooooo!

  • Lol Tom Biscardi was such a dick to them. What an asshole too, these two spend years in the area, devoting time and effort, and he just comes in with his team and insults them, and leaves them behind. It's like, whoa, this is THEIR area, they contacted YOU, dickhead. He just came off as a big asshole who would take their glory of finding Bigfoot immediately if he got the chance.

  • @SFforlife Biscardi is a douche, but if these guys were worth their salt they would have never contacted Biscardi in the first place. Everybody knows that T.B. is a douchebag.

  • @squatchwatcher2 Yeah true, but the sad part was that it was like they really looked up to him in a way it seemed. They're just a couple of amateur (yet devoted) dudes with a passion and probably weren't expecting TB to treat them that way. He is a douche though. lol

  • I saw it on Netflix a few weeks ago. I gotta agree, it's not about Bigfoot at all. It's about the human condition.

It's about how one day you have your whole life ahead of you, and the next you have nothing but howling at the forest, chasing twigs and branches. And everyone around you sees your folly by they humor you because they love you.

It's like a modern Don Quixote who looked at windmills and saw giants.

It's one of the saddest documentaries I've ever seen.

  • The brilliance of this movie is that "Bigfoot" is not nearly the point of it. These guys are the genuine article. We often try to manufacture reality for entertainment or political reasons, but seeing this sort of realism really draws a bold line between real people and reality people. It is brilliantly arranged and done with great love. Excellent movie.

  • rednecks

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • Oh my gosh I have pictures of Bigfoot on my iPod from when I was in woods alone and nobody will believe me so if you could reply I will be able to show you the pic I found.....It's real I know I also live in Ohio and I have the pic.....PLEASE REPLY

  • @antman167 send me some

  • @antman167 i want to see the pic please

  • lol, I live in Portsmouth Ohio.

  • @saviorslegacy me too lol

  • I really REALLY loved this movie. So well done, and a great look into midwest America and it's genuine people. I really like these guys. Great movie.

  • wow thats where i live, only about 30,000 people here

  • What a great movie idea. I personally think it's not impossible for bigfoot to exist.. But I also know its extremely easy to find shapes in the woods that are just tricks of the eye, and I thinks that's what they were seeing in the photo with the "heads" anyway. I have been through Portsmouth and have heard of the Ohio grassman but never heard of this phenomenon. Very interesting looking movie.

  • Cool video. I hope things pick up for you.

  • The problem I'm seeing here is these folks are kind of "stuck" in their hometowns too much; if you're down on pennies, then, move on---to where there are lucks!...

Here in California, a handpandller makes more in a day than these poor ol folks can cash in on one "bigfooft report."

  • My mom knows Wayne. When my mom was like 14 she almost drowned in a poole and Wayne save her life...unfortunatly

  • ill tell you what. i used to live in portsmouth ohio. and hes not lying. its very rough there. i moved away fortunately. im surprised ive never met these guys before!

  • Thats how most people in the USA live folks... not everybody is rich. Most families live off an income of $40,000 a year or less. This is SE Ohio... it could be anywhere in rural USA.

  • funniest movie iv ever seen i started to fell bad for them towards the end tho

  • This is a GREAT character study. All I can say is that when it ended I wanted to not only go to Ohio to find the Bigfoots, but I wanted to fix that guy's darn roof!

Someone please get his house fixed up. God? This one's on you...

    Wes

  • they tuk yr job

  • lol ya the concept of this bothers me, they should have just made a fictional film of 70% the same story

  • you too

  • a great movie

  • Looks incredible. I can't wait to pick up the DVD.

  • I wanna go Bigfootin'!

  • anyone know when this comes out on dvd?

  • Sept 29th

  • Excellent movie. Such interesting characters.

  • Wonderful! I LOVE anything to do with Bigfoot and this hits it for me b/c it hits on the absurdity of it while not neglecting the secret hope that there actually is some mythic beast out there. Cannot wait to see this! Great editing, great music choice, great font work and absolutely perfect closing line. A+++

  • Sorry, but if they'd only put that much effort into getting an education, they'd prob get a job and be able to get their roof fixed, etc. etc. etc. There are resources out there for people to get some type of vocational training or start college. A lot smarter than looking for a fictional ape-man. I'm from Ohio. Went to a vocational school first, then college. It can be done, folks.

    can't wait!

  • i live in highland county ohio, two years ago my friend, my dog and me were playing in the woods and my dog started barking for no reason and the hair on his back raised up he went into the weeds to chase after whatever it was and he came out running for his life and we followed him and when we were in a clearing we could have sworn we saw bigfoot run into the woods from about 200 yards away.

  • @zeck402 man, what were you smoking?

  • My husband and I saw this movie last night in Orlando at the film festival. We haven't stopped talking about it. It was extremely well-made, hilariously funny, poignant, and wonderful. It was obvious to me that the film maker cared about these guys. I wish there were more films like this. The film maker is very talented...this is a real slice of Americana and I bet we will be seeing more of him in years to come.

  • Dallas is a good guy sure but the man is in desperate need of some trazadone especially after hooking up with Jan. I also know how badly you lied on Mary you piece of shit

  • Yeah he is a bit of the mark, Jan is too. Though I have been in Jan's presence and have experienced things that I can not explain. I don't think she is accurate on everything that she states, but she has experience with these creatures. I also think they both lied to Mary.

  • I meant off

  • shot one prove it to the world

  • dallas is one of the bestest ppl ever

  • interesting...

  • I know what you mean. I left there 30 years ago after college. Never looked back. The film is, as was said below, funny, tragic, and touching.

  • The way that people interpret the same film is interesting.

These two posts represent the real threat to the area. Unemployment is high, and the average working family is near poverty. Most people in poverty have a job.

These individuals went to college and developed a chip on their shoulders. Blaming working poor people, or leaving the area and forgetting, are part of the problem.

Too bad that education didn't stimulate any brain growth.

  • glad to hear that everything went well in Austin! good luck in Sarasota!

  • I saw this at SXSW and reviewed it at Aint It Cool News. |It's an oustanding film.

  • One of my oldest and best friends made this movie, its on the film festival circuit now. Its a wonderful film; funny, tragic, touching and highly entertaining. Great job Jay!

  • When will this movie be released? I would like to see it.

  • Which is why I say this looks good

  • For all those who don't get it, Bigfoot is basically one or all of three things: 1 - Undiscovered animal. 2 - Interdemensional being/alien. 3 - a story that is the product of modernity invented by Indians as a coping-mechanism for dealing with the conditions of modernity and adopted by us for the same reasons. 1 and 2 have been exhaustively explored in Film, books and on Discovery Channel, it's nice to see somebody dealing with the more elusive reason things still lurk in the woods.

  • Where are you? Are you here?

  • if they dont give good of bigfoot, this movie will be useless

  • Ty for posting this , lets go bigfootin

  • This looks really good.

  • Oops i was trying to post that on my frinds video, sorry.

The movie looks great and the music sounds great, i cant wait to see the whole movie. You guys did a great job.

  • Shame on Jeff.

  • can't wait to see this movie.

    trailer looks great!

  • This is probably one of the most important previews that I've seen in years. This movie is a genius gem of awesomeness. Whoever directed this movie is most definitely going to be somebody. Set some time away on your calendar so you can make room for this nugget of joy.

  • this is what happens when rednecks get hooked on meth..

  • Perhaps a decent use of your time would involve studying thematic interpretation or economics. The film is a study of the men and their motivations, not cryptozoology. And even the brief trailer lays out the effect of economic devastation on a rural area. Located in Germany, huh? Know what else was lame 15 years ago? Techno I suppose the holocaust is a myth as well.

  • Bringing up the holocaust because I'm German even though it has absolutely nothing to do with the vid or with anything I have said is just sad...

How do you expect me to take anything you say serious when you attack me in such a cheap way?

All hail to the stereotypes Uncle Sam!

  • First of all, the holocaust comment was a low blow and irrelevant.

Second, I was born and raised in this. I only left for an education so I may return and help people.

This town has a way of sucking you dry. It makes you feel you have no way out. It isn't necessarily an economic condition. Most people aspire to do something great with their lives. For some that involves money, which means working is a legit enterprise. But for others, something a little more unique is necessary.

  • I do believe it exists. I'll be seeing this movie when it comes out.

  • believer or not. you got to admit the men love what they do.

  • i don't belie in bigfoot i mean come on

  • Finally, a good down to earth honest movie. I'll purchase the movie if it's going to help honest, down to earth people, and I believe in Bigfoot.

  • amen to that
