I could have so much more respect for people if they were informed on what Obama stands for. The fact that they agreed with conservative policies shows that people are not informed like they should be when it comes to a major decision like this. I think this proves that a large majority of his voters were for him because he is a "rockstar", he has the star power that everyone loves.
not suprised whatsoever, i'd say 95% of college students don't know anything about politics but vote according to family tradition or whats cool (aka conformity[obama]) its ridiculous how people say its wrong to vote for obama because of his race, what do you expect? if racism was obsolete noone would vote for obama simply because of his race, but racism is alive and thriving, even if it isn't "negative" and/or present from one's perspective...99.9999% of the population is racist
