Santana didn't seem as distraut after Finn 'outted' her as many imply, which is shown when Brittney suggests that Santana should stop making fun of Finn. To which she replies, Finn has a tough skin.
Something that many of us have overlooked is that there is a person who is responsible for creating and broadcasting the ad.
I think that in either position, somebody's going to be pissed. I don't think anybody really deserved what they got - both Finn and Santana. She called Finn fat, she constantly ridicules and torments his, and she bullies him, and Rory, and so many other people, and she SLAPPED HIM, but he can handle it, he's a guy! No! It's still bullying what she did to him! And sure, maybe he hinted that she's a lesbian but it's not like he actually outed her, people over heard them argueing and spread it, it's not the same! Santana is one of my favourites.
But, this is something we all need to consider. Santana was not at this stage with Finn until she was shown the anti-Sue smear campaign. Santana didn't seem as distraut after Finn 'outted' her as many imply, which is shown when Brittney suggests that Santana should stop making fun of Finn. To which she replies, Finn has a tough skin.
Something that many of us have overlooked is that there is a person who is responsible for creating and broadcasting the ad.

I think that in either position, somebody's going to be pissed. I don't think anybody really deserved what they got - both Finn and Santana. She took it too far and was bullying him but in the same respect she didn't deserve to be outed like that. I don't really think there's a right or wrong person in this situation.

After all Finn saw Kurt go through, you'd think he'd have a little more compassion regarding the gay issue. He could have gone after so many other things as far as Santana goes...the gay thing was just a bit much.

Wait, are people actually defending Santana? Seriously? You guys say outing someone is wrong, but then act as if making fun of a person's body, girlfriend, beliefs and overall bringing them down is totally justifiable. I'm sorry, I love Santana, but she pushed it way too far with the insults and making Rory bleed. Finn at least didn't mock who Santana was, just telling it like it was. I'm impressed with how calm he was. I doubt a lot of people would have kept as cool as he did in his position.

@melshecar1713 That wasn't bullying. He didn't scream SANTANA IS A LESBIAN OMG WHAT A FREAK. All he did was ask why she channels all her anger into other people because she hasn't come out. And you know what? He was absolutely spot on. All he did was open her eyes, and I think it was out of concern not spite that he said that, since he was probably comparing her to Kurt. And being called fat, ugly and untalented WILL hit a person just as hard, especially when's it's thrown at them 24/7.

@alaveto12 she never tried to out kurt, kurt was out from the first episode, she made fun of his flaboyant ways yes...thing is this is high school ever been? i was called fat, big head, big nose, loser, dumb, etc and guess what? i had an insult to give right back at them no one is perfect especially in hs. but the first time i was called a fag (doesnt matter if it was mean to hurt or not) i froze just like she did, wanted to disappear from this planet. worst day ever..

@melshecar1713 Nope, Kurt wasn't out in the first episode. He only came out in the third episode to Mercedes, and even then not everyone knew. Before he actually officially came out to everyone, Santana was actually making similar homosexual remarks to him before he let everyone know. Why don't you watch the actual episodes before you talk. And you have to remember not everyone minds as much to being called fat/untalented/ugly as you do, but it scars a LOT of children in the world.

@alaveto12 You could easily say Santana just said it like it is but not in a manor that finn would have liked. It's very easy to rationalize any situation. I think Santana had it coming but the reality is being forcefully outed is not the same as someone calling you fat. You can't just tell off the bat someone is gay and you don't know there situation. Typically kids don't get killed, beaten up, kicked out of by THEIR PARENTS for being overweight. Santana was wrong but fin had no right.

@flame0731 You only addressed how Santana mentioned how he was fat. There's a difference between fat and manatee. And that's not just it. She constantly mocks everyone in the ND and causes trouble and controversy in every direction. Besides, in some of the earlier episodes, she actually tried outing Kurt and was never called out on it. The one time Finn decides to give Santana a taste of her on medicine, everyone starts ignoring all Santana's faults and start bashing Finn. It's not fair.

@alaveto12 It really is irrelevant what I addressed. The point is the overall what she said to Finn is NOT in the same playing field as outing someone. Parents kick out their own kids, or people kill gay kids. Doesn't happen that often just for someone being fat or whatever someone wants to call it. Obviously there's a difference between fat and a manatee. I don't document what is said on Glee. Two wrongs don't make a right. Obviously she didn't succeed. Note : "santana was wrong" - not ignore

After he got fed up he didn't scream in the hallway that she was a lesbian, he just addressed how Santana's hatred was because she was insecure about who she was. We all know Finn isn't homophobic anymore because of Kurt. It's not the same as just calling her a "dike" right at her face. Just telling it like it was, and they both knew he was right. And Santana has done way worse than this one time someone brings up how she is secretly gay.

@EternalPoisonization when finn claimed she was lesbo in the hall other people heard him including another candidates friends daughter and used her against sue saying she has lesbo cheerleaders in an tv commercial so now everyone in town knows she is a lesbian and santana never really told annyone like her parents so its a big problem for her because what are her parents suppose to believe? so thanks to finn he " ruined" her life and thats why she thinks hes talking about her to rachel

This episode literally broke my heart, to see Santana in so much pain, no one deserves to be outed like that! Finn had no right! Just because she called him fat, doesn't mean he has the right to out her. He can always work out, but she can't stop being who she is

She's been slamming Finn all season long without any sort of remorse in her words, and Finn finally lashed back at her. I do feel a little bad for her, but she's had it coming for 3 years. What goes around come back around. You can't blame Finn given the circumstances.
