  • Baby can I smell ur ass

  • Anyhow, why are there no TV programs on Perso-Hellenistic and Hasmonean Yehud? The Hasmoneans' territory was the closest any Jewish kingdom ever got to fulfilling the dream of all the land from "Dan to Beersheba" being united.

  • im gonna marry that girl

  • Oh my God.. she is hot!!!!

  • No contradiction in the Philistines use of idols...2 Sam 5:21 confirms they took them into battle, and also the bible shows us they were polytheistic...Judges 16:23, 2 Kings 1:2

  • she is hot

  • @N00bcrunch3r so true, if you like to read something about what archaeology has to say about this: Silberman/ Finkelstein: The Bible Unearthed.

  • @doyoublush

    Thanks!

  • @N00bcrunch3r The book lies on my desk right now. Actually, I am a medieval archaeologist, but every now and then I start having an affaire with a different period or geographical scope. I hope you will enjoy the book, it is nicely written and understandable for everyone and, this is more important, "still available at fine bookstores everywhere". Good luck!

  • @doyoublush

Hmm...I generally like just browsing through different parts of history. I'll probably go look it up on Amazon.

  • This woman is very critically preoccupied with Atheistic worldview. I have seen her criticism of the Bible without any evidence.

  • @1983xita Especially when she herself puts the word 'maybe' before many of her own statements....

  • @Pufferfish701

I have seen this woman stumped by a clergy in youtube "Is the Bible relevant today?"

She is just with red-eyeglasses playing in a green field.

  • @1983xita The woman is being rational. The Bibble is not to be taken as literal historic fact no more than the Iliad.

  • @MrColuber

So do you think all the Biblical characters Abraham, Joseph, Mosses, David, Isaiah, Jesus Christ, . . . and the major events like Exodus. . .etc are all non real fictitious? This woman has that kind of idea. I heard her in BBC "Big Questions".

I believe the Biblical narration has some literal historical accounts Creation,Noachian deluge, Exodus, Incarnation, etc. And mainstream history has confirmed at least some of them. What sort of rationality is there without these facts?

  • @1983xita I think that the Bibble should not be taken literally, regardless of whether or not one or two characters within it actually existed.

  • @MrColuber

You are deluded by atheism. What are you then believing in? What is your spiritual role model for your faith? Are you dreaming, then? Pure history and science has confirmed The Bible than your dream. Please listen some of Prof. John Lennox lectures and debates.

  • @1983xita Deluded by atheism? Not quite, as I still hope that there is a higher force out there. I just don't believe in the Bibble. I do believe in humanity. My spiritual role models are a few good friends. Science and history have both confirmed that the Bibble, at best, is a bastardized account of events from the eighth century BC onwards, and that the rest is myth, legend or propoganda. But I will listen to your Prof Lennox, and see what he has to say.

  • @1983xita Archaeology shows that the OT contains myth and history; there is some historicity in it, but there are also pure myths in it. Go read Silberman/ Finkelstein: The Bible Unearthed.

  • @doyoublush Better, even, read Israel Finkelstein's scholarly articles on his website. TBU is, after a decade, quite outdated.

  • @MrColuber Since when atheism is a standard for rationalism? Do you really believe Jews would invent a King?

  • @eXteZin Atheists do tend to be reasonable, although there are exceptions. And I do believe that any people, Jews or not, could take an individual, and overblow his importance.

  • You heretics, of course King David existed, and the Temple of Solomon. Many of the facts in the scriptures have been proved. Israel owned this land for thousands of years!

  • @Samyaza69 i agree david existed, as well as the first temple, but you cant say israel owned the land for thousands of years, not even the bible says that

  • @cnash41 also i dont think the historicity of david's empire plays any role in the establishment of the modern jewish state. we know that there was jewish presence from the 2nd temple period, as well as dna evidence confirming modern day israelis have heritage on the land

  • african people you talk about the euro arab invaders came after

so ther will never by peace in the middle east nature gonne set tings richt

  • @BARTONIM :

    1. Israelis do NOT deliberately round up Palestinians and beat them. I would suspect that if that happened there would be WORLD WIDE OUTRAGE.

    2. You have to remember that an independent country called Palestine HAS NEVER EXISTED. So, as Israel says, " How can it be their land ?! "

    3. Israel has built a great and mighty nation based on courage, hard work, careful planning and forging lasting friendships.

  • ...civilians and DELIBERATELY place their ROCKET LAUNCHERS and MACHINE GUNS among PALESTINIAN CIVILIANS and if Palestinian terrorists DELIBERATELY hide behind WOMEN'S SKIRTS while firing their weapons as he pushes her forward into Israeli fire, then they shouldn't be too surprised that Israel will retaliate and large Palestinian casualties will result.

  • @DARKLIGHTRAVEN : NO, I think it is YOU who needs to read up on history A LOT !

    1. ZIONISM does NOT originate in Europe. It is mentioned in the BIBLE OVER 150 TIMES !

    2. ARCHAEOLOGY has PROVEN that the ISRAELIS ( who were one of thirty Canaanite tribes ) first arrived in what was to become the Holy Land around 1250 B.C. long before any Palestinians got there.

    3. If the Palestinians DELIBERATELY fire rockets on Israeli

  • @NECHOII And Israelis deliberately round up Palestinians and beat them. They also deliberately defy international law and build settlements on land that does not belong to them. They also take full advantage of America's, and the West's, unfaltering support. They also have built a state based on terrorism.

  • @DARKLIGHTRAVEN : NO, I think it is YOU who needs to read up history A LOT !

  • @ COOTABUX : Native Indian tribes are not demanding independent countries by use of violence like the Palestinians are doing.

  • @NECHOII You are all right in a way, but it's easy for them to be anti - semitic - it's the latest in cool apparently. You should have holocaust days like we do in UK! Or they could try sitting in a kibbutz with the incoming rockets - the ideals go out the window. But as for the Indians - well old Russell has tried demanding an independent Republic of Lakota - not by violence - as you say. Well it only takes up SD ND Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming - so go for it Russ! We Brits are all for it!

  • @ 57WORLDWIDE : There were of course TWO ANCIENT KINGDOMS OF ISRAEL - that of KINGS OMRI AND AHAB and that of the MACCABEES !

  • @ 57WORLDWIDE : There ARE other reasons why the land belongs to Zionist Israel. There has NEVER been an independent country called Palestine. There are NO Palestinian Kings, NO ancient Palestinian monuments, NO ancient Palestinian writings, NO ancient Palestinian buildings - NOTHING ! It would be like me being a tenant in your house for twenty years and then suddenly I demanded you get out of " my house. " ABSURD !

  • NECHOII

You mean like Europeans did here in my country, N.America, when they decided to murder us all bcuz they wanted the wealth and the land??

Of course, my point is only in relation to your analogy, as I found it a familiar one.

  • @NECHOII really?

  • @NECHOII palestine before was only tribes, arabs and jews, zionist come from europe and from the whole world, they aren't native from israel as the palestinians are, they started to come in 1948,

  • @NECHOIIpalestinians are fighting with violence???? who is the oppresser? tell me, or you are a submissive guy that wouldn't fight for your own country???? i mean c'mon wake up

  • @NECHOII when we attack and bomb and kill millions it is counter terrorism and when muslims or arabs defend them selves it is terrorism, this is absurd, i guess you should read some history a bit

  • she is hot as hell

  • I have just watched another BBC program on the Dead Sea Scrolls, and read the revelation of John, which was a prophecy dream that is a very valid warning. Sometimes dreams are hard to interpret, but they can come true. I was trying to find evidence that our ancients knew the workings and the existance of the psychopathic mind, and they did. The Apistle of Jude (Judas), V10 - 18

  • It seems to me that the region was plush land, and mainly the reason for all the conflicts. Spirituality is makes people fight harder. But we cannot continue on this path anymore, we have to lean toward respecting each other more and appreciating the ancient words and new, and not let religion be the barrier that seperates us or gives us the excuse to push each other our of the way without a thought or a care, like we were just cattle to be eaten.

  • @ 9:30 The Egyptian goddess Basted demonstrates multiplicity of cultural influence? How about Egyptian influence? @12:35 Greek, Persian, Roman, Arabic, Jewish & Christian all built? No Egyptians? How about Thutmose’s 3 who ruled the whole area and won a famous battle at Megiddo? His son Amenhotep 3 wo is famed for his building ruled this area, the Amarna tablets, Karkan records….. Substantiate this. Think out side the box people, Cynical analysis

  • @prolaser On top of each other. Were the Egyptians who built there building on top of earlier construction sites?

You provided some very good points. Consider this, though: Roman expansion. Romans expanded their territory, they didn't always build everything inside their newly conquered territory though. They governed over villages which were already established in some cases; improved infrastructures, but priority was Rome. Egyptian empire ended long ago.

  • They claim David lived around 1000bc and his successor was Solomon. They had an empire, gold mines….. 150 years of digging in Israel and no evidence. Look at Egypt’s King at the time of Solomon. Psusennes I who’s Tomb was found in tacked complete with golden mask like King Tut. A Silver & Gold sarcophagus demonstrating vast wealth as Silver was rarer than gold when will people wake up to fake religion?

  • this girl is hot. and i dont think isreal should exist if the jews cant control it by force. i heard a teacher say once" the only people who have a right to control of a land are those who have the ability to protect it with force" u cant just give jews a home cause it was there home at one point. this logic means everyone in western hemisphere gives up all land to native americans

  • @bobmoore20 It's not as simple as that. As Arabs are actually genetically descended from ethnic Jews, Muslim refugees should be allowed back into Israel first. This isn't that an ethnicity is laying claim to a land, but an ideology.

You seem to think giving the natives their land back is morally objectable, instead of simply unfeasible. Too much time has passed, same for Israel - the promised land was meant to be delivered by God to the chosen people. Not delivered by people with claims of God.

  • @57worldwide i thuoght about something my friend said the other day " if god is all loving, why does god have a chosen people?" shouldnt everyone be a part of "gods people"? so american indians who never heard anything about the hebrew god were doomed?

  • @bobmoore20 Exactly. There are plenty of contradictions, Christianity is not the only religion with them.

But, it isn't as simple as sending Europeans or 'non-natives' back to their original countries. What about some people in mixed families? Does the mother or father get exiled? What happens to the half-caste child? Can Tiger Woods get to live in China and Africa, or neither? The 'send them back' sentiment is insane. People who don't think critically will support it.

  • @57worldwide i need to do a little research about before 1940s. maybe u can answer this. the area was dominated by muslims pre 1940s, right? were people forcefully moved from their homes to make room for "Israel"?

  • @bobmoore20 Some villagers were displaced due to the fighting, look on wikipedia for Deir Yassin massacre. Many Muslims fled their villages, they weren't moved with force but left in fear of what might happen to them if they stayed. Hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees were denied the right to return to their villages.

There were some Muslim and Jewish villages living close to each other which had a peace agreement. I have to ask, finally, do you support Israel?

  • @57worldwide no i dont. i always felt like the world said "well it was their home and the holocaust was horrible, so the jews can have israel. doesnt seem very fair to palestinian people. im was just as confused as u, lol, did u agree with my first comment or not?

  • @bobmoore20 Of course I agree with your first comment; I find Doctor Stavrakopoulou is hot.

It's not as simple as wether or not Israel should exist, as far as I'm concerned - in the perfect scenario, one state would exist, without bias, with everyone living amicably with one another. I acknowledged your comment when I said it 'isn't that an ethnicity is laying claim to a land, but an ideology'.

Jews getting Israel is not because of the holocaust. Zionism is the reason.

  • This programme is BBC Muslim Propaganda!!!! Makes me sick!!!!

  • @ThomasJKH You already said it... And I already told you you made no sense. Please read my previous message.

  • @keirapotter Oh please, you're just as anti-semitic as the other commenters on this video. The comment before mine said something like "them lying Jews, bla bla bla"...

YOU and the BBC are feeding people Muslim propaganda. Undermining the right for a Jewish state. I hate people like you. You are just as bad as a Nazi.

  • @ThomasJKH O_o If I were a nazi and if I dictated the world, sure I would lock up some people, actually PEOPLE LIKE YOU (that's to say MORONS). You DARE insult me, say you "hate me" and allege that i am anti semitic, when I'm NOT (and you have NO arguments AT ALL, since I never wrote anything even slightly critical concerning jews) and if you had READ my other comments addressed to actual anti semitic comments people posted here, you'd know what you said is just completely stupid. Gosh!!!!!!

  • damn lying Jews

  • @matthewalanmacdonald Oh. Shut Up. This programme isn't about Jews. It's about ancient texts written by ancient israelites. At that time texts mixing historical facts, geopolitical agenda and mythology were very common in EVERY culture.

  • Once again the Muslim BBC produces more disgusting anti-semetic, anti-christian, PRO-muslim propaganda.

FUCK THE BBC!!!!!!! It's a Muslim propaganda house. Don't let it brainwash you like it has done so many Brits...

  • @ThomasJKH FYI, this documentary, in the 1st part, alleges that Yahweh was just a pagan god, and that consequently Abraham was not monotheistic at all... Muslims believe in the God of Abraham, in case you didn't know... So, there is no way this is pro-muslim.

  • @keirapotter It's pro-Muslim by the fact it's attacking the credibility of a Jewish state in a time where Muslims will use just about any excuse to invade Israel. I've only watched 3/5 parts of this programme so far, but it's all very against the beliefs of Jews and Christians. Why doesn't she go and explore the lies in the Quran?

The documentary goes on to say how the Bible was incorrect about the Philistines (Palestinians?!) and that there is so much proof of their existance and their culture.

  • @ThomasJKH *rolling eyes* The programme does NOT attack the credibility of a jewish state. It suggests David's kingdom was just a small chiefdom, and that maybe Israel and Judah were never a united kingdom. This doesn't change ANYTHING AT ALL concerning the right the Jews have to be in Israel nowadays, because if the unity of the old nothern Israel and southern Judah is questioned, scholars know FOR SURE Israel existed in the 9th century BC (King Omri), and Judah too at the same period.

  • @keirapotter Basically what I'm trying to say is that to the average dumb-ass Muslim watching this video, they're gonna think "eh, Israel really doesn't have any credibility and Jews were just lying the whole time" or that "wow, the "Philistines" (what many Muslims believe to be Palestinians) were a powerful people with a sympathetic culture"... etc....

I know the BBC pumps out Muslim Muslim/Arab propaganda on a daily basis. This programme simply incites more negative feelings towards Israel.

  • @ThomasJKH Who cares about the average dumb ass people? This is about ancient history. And I don't think any muslim will think philistines had a nice culture, they had a polytheistic culture and muslims hate polytheism. The documentary makes it clear that ancient Israel was there for sure in the 9th century BC (a century after David). I don't think saying Israel was not a kingdom in the 10th century BC but in the 9th attacks the credibility of the modern state.

  • I'm in love. what a smart and beautiful girl!!!

  • It's a matter of beliefs. It's not the first time a heretic athiest sholar has attempted to dismiss the Abrahamic faiths. It will go on and on and on....... What do you believe???

  • @eddied111 "heretic atheist scholar" ha ha, gotta love your objectivity! "Attempted"?? It's been done!! The Biblical myths have been shattered, believed only by religionists. Enjoy your Medieval naivete...

  • @amaxamon Don't forget pal, that there is only one truth, and that's all that matters. Whether you say it's yours or mine is not relevant. There is only one truth. For anyone to be so certain "in" their beliefs is dependant only "on" their beliefs. So its all about belief. Chill, its not personal. But to act hysterically like the academic or in this case yourself, is demonstrating again a lack of philosophical understanding of different faiths, and illustrates anger at those who believe in them.

  • @eddied111 You shd try taking your own advice sometime. And you *asked* us what we believed! Don't ask if you don't want to know.

  • Thank you for sharing this 8D

  • Jct: I find it incredible you don't look at the Armana archives with a letter from Ishbaal (Saul's (Labayu's) son to Akhenaten mentioning Dadua (David) and Yeshuya (David's father Jesse). David Rohl's A Test of Time convinces that David built his kingdom while Egypt was in chaos and Solomon allied himself with Pharaoh and was given Pharaoh's daughter for a wife. Solomon could have been Rameses brother- or uncle-in-law, why he protected Jeroboam when Sol tried to kill him, then conquered Rehoboam

  • @kingofthepaupers

    What "kingdom"? Where is it?

  • Do a quick Internet search on ancient archaeology from Europe (e.g., Greece, Rome, and pagan Germans), from non-Jewish Middle Eastern societies (e.g., Gilgamesh, Mesopotamia, Turkey, & Egypt), and China (e.g., Kingdom Ba, Shang Dynasty, & Erlitou culture). They are more impressive & factual than ancient archaeology supporting the Torah or Talmud. Yet, we worship the latter as Holy & supreme, and the former is considered "nothing special".

  • As bible and holocaust "facts" continue to be dissected and proven false the world will now know what the jews are.......liars, cheaters, masters of deception, and parasites. We will now know why those civilizations in the past have thrown out their jewish inhabitants.

  • @vmeister11 Shut the fuck up! Bitches like you denying the holocaust should be fired into a gas chamber. Then you might have sympathy for what the Jews went through back in the 1930's and 40's in Europe.

I've been to Auschwitz! I've seen all of the evidence. You're a disgusting animal to even consider denying the holocaust. I hate people like you with a passion.

  • @ThomasJKH And people like you swallow what you've been told without questioning, analyzing, or thinking. You're their best customer.

  • @vmeister11 Please keep your anti semitic comments for yourself, because it's really stupid... This documentary is in no way anti-semitic. It's not about the jews. It's about the ancient textx in the Bible, and the history of the ancient israelites. And when holocaust facts have been proven false?? People like you are unbelievable...

  • What a damn shame she's wearing pants.

  • Bibi's new Tee-shirt... "The Egyptians got 17 new pyramids and all I got was t a lousy fake Pomegranate!"

  • Could you tell me where i could download all the series!! Thank you..

  • Interesting~
