  • I can think of three variations to exit the cleaver, if you get your feet together (at about 0:28) the guy can do a slight lean to the side, or you can slide apart, both lean away from each other, catching hands at the end, or again at about 0:28 the guy can offer his left hand between you at for you to take with your left and he can sort of spin you out, easier to show then describe, still learning that one!

  • From a cleaver, I often lead a circular walk, clockwise and/or anticlockwise. I think it unusual to lead forwards in this arm locked position, but I will try it out anyway on Monday ! (it might be good ! )

Instead of the lady pulling the man back up behind his head, I think a finger under his chin works better and also avoids problems with eye poking too. Susie Kable does this in her Baila Morena routine on this youtube channel.

  • nice moves take it easy

  • Great stuff. I was practising some hijack moves myself only last evening. Not sure it was such a great idea, as the dance floor has been just about the only place in which I haven't been pushed about by women. Is Seamus losing weight? Probably worrying himself to death about poor old Nick.

  • Seamus might be sweating as it is nearing the end of the Tax year! Nick was at Bournemouth with the Beginners & so escaped my camera.
