"In the name of" means "by the authority of." It's like the old Keystone Cop movies, where the police officer screams to the robbers, "Halt, in the name of the law!" There is salvation in no other name, or by no other authority. Jesus was given all authority in heaven and on earth, and He commanded His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, i.e., by the authority of heaven. Therefore, when Peter said, "in the name of Jesus Christ...", there was no contradiction.
I never ceased to be amazed at how religious pride blinds the eyes! When one says, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost...this I do in Jesus' name!" He is calling the NAME of the Lord! Get some help brother!
I'm not trying to argue, but I'm only saying, that without calling on the NAME of Jesus in baptism, there is no remission of sins. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but it is not the Bible way to sugar-coat something as important as Jesus Name baptism.
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
Glory to God and to His Holy Name. My walk and life have changed after being baptised in Jesus' Name and taking on His Name. Clothed in Jesus Christ, washed in His Atoning Blood, buried with Him in baptism. Risen with Him to live a new life now. Sanctified, justified, and saved from sin and death by His finished work...GLORY WHAT A DAY to remember! Seperated unto God.

All of these baptisms were great. That little girl getting baptized in Jesus' Name was precious.

Hey Pastor Dale, I haven't been on line for a while,, I see your new videos and I really like this video..
I agree with you about the "fighting" the church does over the baptism..
I was baptized in the FATHER, SON, HOLY GHOST, but I don't see the big fight over this way too..
This is an old timey baptizing, I like the song, and I really enjoyed it..

I like the video, Didn't know you baptized in Jesus Name, but it's fine..
I don't think it matters as long as you are baptized..
Great baptizing though, and I agree the church shouldn't argue over such matters..
I really like the song on there, never heard it before..
thanks again Pastor!
