  • i feel this is a little biased. one thing, the driver on the lamborghini seem to suck balls at driving. not saying i can do any btter at all, but get a better driver. the bike driver seemed to be very skilled at driving his bike. also this is a bike vs a car. highly biased against the car. no car in the world will ever beat a bike.

  • @jollyrogger51 deuce on hold...

  • Ducati is faster

  • i can't understand why all the english people are sure that the "busa" is the fastest bike in the world.ok,is the faster bike but just on a straight road.take a look at the weight:busa 243kg;ducati 1198 just 169kg.take a look at the hp:busa has 197 hp,1198 has170 hp.now the weight/power ratio is 1.2 for the busa and 0.9 for the ducati.how is it possible that a busa can be faster than a ducati???

  • @mike19992000 TURBusa FTW!

  • @mike19992000 it just is.

  • tutti italiani!

  • la lamborghini con il volante all'inglese non si può vedere

  • bikes rule... id like to see the busa race that thing

  • The busa can't be faster then ducati on a race track. On a straight motoway for sure, but not on a race track: no way!! The Ducati rules!!

  • ha um no, i dont care if u like ducati more, the fact is-1300cc vs. 1000cc, ducati miiiight have a chance on the circut course depending... but the hayabusa is the fastest production bike on the planet thus far... ducati is coming out with a 1199r, we'll see then

  • niccccceeeeeee.. I want both X)

  • good video..sad that was a stock triple 9 not even an R or S and it still beat the gallardo..

  • Wouldnt mind either on my driveway. The 999 looks awesome

  • I love the 999...O.O

  • the S3 Radical would smoke them both

  • Sweetness, 2 of Italy's greatest vehicles, the Ducati 999 is my dream bike...

  • 180bhp where do they get that from?130ishat the crank 120ish at back wheel more like!neone see the "race" clarkson did between an r1 and porsche?

  • yeah that was an old r1 the 999 is faster than that model

  • There shouldn`t even be a debate or useless stats.

    UM!!! a bike vs. car.

  • The Busa, k1200 and Zx14 are too heavy to be competitive on a track, on the track looks like the 1000s will dominate. 600s can beat 1000s in smaller tracks too.

daveyshrike ofcourse a awd (gallardo/wrx) will have an advantage over bikes in wet and low tracktion enviorments if it's twistie. but I can't think of any real world condition where a car would win in a straght line.

I want to see someone compare euro to jap bikes. MV or duke yamaha and honda. Is it worth paying twice as much?

  • Wow ... great Gallardo ... usually bikes are much faster than cars ... but this one ... only 0.44 of a sec ... great car

  • Austin: BMW? I would say Kawasaki ZZR1400 or Suzuki Hayabusa 2007 pushing 200bhp!

  • These bikes would be much much slower on the track - they are built for straight lines and top speeds not nimbleness. I agree that any of the 1 liter I4s can beat the vanilla 999 on the track, and I don't think many can disagree with that. I would have liked to have seen the 'S' or 'R' version of the 999 or the GSXR-750 which in most all tests beats the liter bikes on the track significantly. But I don't race so the Duc gets my pick any day of the week.

  • Car Bike

    Road contact 4 W 2 W

    Weight heavy light

    Stability good bad

    Power good bad

    Accelleration bad good

    I'll take the bus!

  • Car Bike

  • But in the wet, on a looser surface, on a bumpy real-world road, with a 'normal' person in control a fast car will always be at an advantage over a bike. Disagree? I'll see you out there on the slurry-covered back roads of mid Wales in icy December. Impreza or Ducati under these real-world conditions?

  • I would like to see a Lamborghini in to the Same conditions u say.. bumpy, looser surface.. Dude this was fair and motos kill

  • how about bmws new k 1200 s, 0-60 2.8.

    ciao

  • Obvios that 999 won...it's much more light and in curves will win for the better acceleration...but on a long straight Gallardo would win...and please after saying a jap bike will smoke Ducati...plz.....watch superbike...asshole (I have an Mv Agusta F4s 4 cylinders but Ducati is a good bike as well)

  • yep, italian pride lol, damn i envy you for having my fav. bike, MV Agusta F4s :)

  • I want a redo with the desmocidiciRR please.....

  • donde las regalan?

  • Awesome! I am a biker and I well and truly expected the car to whip the duke's ass due to grip.

  • the ducati 999 is a v-twin. if it were a japanese inline-four like a kawasaki zx-10R or a suzuki GSX-R1000 it would have smoked the ducati 999, and in turn smoke the lambo. i have an Aprilia RSV Mille 1000, so im not dinging the v-twin. they're still better than inline 4's, in my opinion.

  • you're missing the point here. s'all about being Italian yo.

  • I need both of these in my garage.

    First, I'll need a garage. :o

  • lol me too

  • evidently :)

  • only reason why it's a bike >.> more lighter more speed

  • Ducati rules ;-)
