Yea us too. It is amazing how much stuff they go through! On our trip Elsie learned to sit on her own so the bumbo wasn't really needed. What kinda pack n play do you have?
What about her cosleeper/play yard? I just took a 3 week vaca and didn't really bring a lot but all the big things they need make it seem so. We have the same playmat...but my 'angry bird' is dying
@fattiecane yea we had a pack and play with us too. We ended up using almost everything I brought too. Yea that poor little bird. It was Scarlet's first friend, he didn't last long. RIP
This made me laugh sooo much! You are clearly a first time mum? (not being rude- laughing) eventually you learn what you do and don't like about taking certain things and you get by. But good on you- hope
It was an enjoyable week. Your daughter has adorable clothes and stuff! Lucky girl. And you answered my q's on the petunia picklebottom weekender :-( damn. They look so nice but in that shape, not floppy :-(
@kateymateymusic1 I agree lol With my first daughter we would pack out whole SUV full of stuff. Now with our 2nd we all pack in less space then i used to pack just her stuff. But i also have her to help keep him entertained so i dont need some of the other items.
@beebellkel I would reccomend the healthy sleep habits healthy child. However I think that my best resource has been mom vloggers on youtube and mom forums on google.
@bitsandclips I thought the same thing when I looked at it online so I went to compare the weekender vs the satchel in person. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was moderatly easy to get in/out of. It also has a coated canvas bottom so that pretty much sold it for me :) I had the boxy backpack as my first diaper bag and found that was more narrow.
Thanks for showing the PPB weekender. I'm not tooo impressed by the shape-ness issues you showed. Have you looked into any other larger bags that you now think you would have rather purchased?
@thebubblelush, no. Ryan has placed a bag-shopping bag on my life. Something about priorities and responsibility and shiz. I still think the bag is cute but I think the price you pay is for the PPB name, not for the quality.
@brandyywine I have the sassy satchel (PPB) and even though it is not as big I do like the front pocket option better. I looked at both and had the same complaints/concerns as Marie for the weekender. I plan on doing a review of the satchel on my channel sometime soon :)
i've been waiting on the bag review! I was going to get it but it didn't seem like it had any pockets on the outside which I didn't like but I still LOVE the style and the idea of the bag.. more so then the actual bag haha.
its amazing how much stuff we have to take for a little one but like I always say its better to have more than enough than not enough. Have a great time hun.:-)
It might feel like a lot but it will be totally worth it!! When our little girl was 6 months we took her over night to her first sporting event and just for over night I had about half that. But It was worth it, It kept her happy and a happy baby is an uncranky baby!! lol

@MommieStar do you like the way the satchel opens? It looked like it was pretty narrow from the website.
