Is there any chance you could upload the stop-motion animation that is missing from the American release? I don't know what it is but I know some of it was cut out. Maybe if you were to compare the two. I know it's asking a lot...
Here's what Wikipedia had to say about the missing footage:
"Roughly nine minutes were cut from the American print, including a provocative dance from Martine Beswick and a gruesome end to one of the ape-men in the cave. Some footage of the allosaur attack on the Shell tribe was also deleted from the initial release, but restored decades later."
So you may have already seen the "missing" footage. If you are really keen to investigate this Amazon UK sells the English release.
if you like miss beswick as i do, take a look at dr. 'jekyll and sister hyde' where the late great ralph bates/dr. jekyll shows to have excellent taste preparing a formula that brings out the beautiful martine instead of the monstrous alter ego commonly depicted.
This scene was in the version I saw as a kid in the 1960s. My DVD is the Studio Canal version, released through Universal. It has several bonus features -
* "Raquel Welch in the Land of Dinosaurs" featurette
I'm not sure what you are referring to. The fight between Luana and Nupondi has always been in this film each time I've seen it. And that includes the first time I saw it as a kid when it was first released in 1966. What makes you think it was cut?
Sorry, I misunderstood. I obviously don't know my own clip very well.
I dug around The Net and learned that the dance sequence was cut from the American release of this film. You can blame that on the Pilgrim fathers, I guess. That explains why you and some of the other folks who commented here never saw it. I guess I must have seen the original British release, which included the dance, when I saw it as a kid in Australia.

@pwgr2000 Interesting. You can see exactly where it fits in the movie. I wonder why it was cut out -- time restrictions?

Why can't all movies feature a 1968 Martine Beswick in a bikini?
1:50 "It's......"

Martine also appears in two other videos of mine - Sixties Cheesecake Dance No. 4 and Sixties Cheesecake Dance No. 5.
