You can go online in PS2, you just need to buy a box that is sold separated.

A lot of games were online in PS2 even before PS3 came out.

yeah i know, my friend almost had me beat and then we both went bankai at the same time XD, luckily for me i know bankai ikkaku is a close fighter but bankai renji is a lon range fighter, so i just stayed away from him :)
