  • great vid man but, are you doing this tutorial for people who know how or are familiar with revit ? because im new on revit and thought this vid was going to help but it didnt, you're too fast man!

  • David thank you very much for this. After using AutoCAD for a few years and attempting to do some house plans I was a little lost with Revit so that was a great help! Much appreciated :)

  • David, cheers for the upload - very informative. Can you tell how these documents will be transferred and used by general contractors, construction managers & builders and what will the benefits to those companies be by designers using this platform.

  • @sunglance Hi Sunglance, Your contractors can view the data by using DWFx technology from Autodesk. All the files, project management files etc can be published. You can also use Buzzsaw or other EDM software such as Meridian. The greatest advantage is a BIM (Building information Model), changes are reflected real time via the disciplines lowering costs and mistakes. A Change in one view represents a change in all views. • helped me alot thank you

  • Well done my friend but I must agree with 56ghia although it is a quick overview it is just a tad too fast. Perhaps, at some stage you could make a few videos on the different subjects throughout this video? Just a thought. Cheers, John W.
