  • She is on top of jenifah L.

  • amazing......I am really unlucky for not having the luck to experience this music when it was heard in clubs. Today's music cannot be compared to this.

  • The youth of today is at a disadvantage. Nothing gets me off my feet like a sista belting out a house tune like she's singing lead in the gospel choir!

  • you ain't silly - and you damn sure ain't old if you're feeling this!!!! this is the primo - top shelf stuff - because it only gets better as it ages!!!

  • Big Tune......

    LET'S HAVE IT.......

  • on one of the best uk labels.giles peterson the star

  • This has got to be one of the best records ever made in the history of recorded music. Raw, powerful, sincere and genuine. This song is not a pose. You betta recognize!

  • This reminds me of the Jellybean parties.

  • this tune is raw jocelyn is awsome i got a a twin 12" theres some fab mixes on it buy it

  • Beginning at 4:48 and ending at 7:12 is my favorite part of the song!!

  • oh yes from begining to the phenomenal end, PERFECT !

  • Damn!!!!! Jocelyn brings it on this one. The way this song builds and builds. If you're still sitting down at the end, something's wrong with you.

  • I with you @wiggelover04..Gota be something wrong with you if you ain't feelin this cut ...Jocelyn Brown" I tip my hat to you' SISTA!...StILL bringin da FUNK after all thing years...I am feelin this cut hard...STAND UP!!! ITS ALRIGHT!!!

  • what happened to the house clubs of nyc what ever happened to sprinkling some powder on the floor and doing ya thang lol

  • temple parties with ruben toro!

  • Hot songs like this make me sad because clubs in Philly don't play stuff like this. Clubs around here play Jay-Z and Rihanna and retarded hip hop songs about shiat. Sigh.

  • I used to go out in Philly when this was first out, and the clubs played this all the time. Depends on the DJ, I guess.

  • Just SICK!

    The piano is amazing

    I JUST FEEL IT

    AND ITS ALRIGHT!!

  • OMG Jocelyn has one of the greatest voices of our time and saw her live a few weeks ago and she did a version of marvin and tammies "Aint no mountain high enough" absolutely blew me away

  • this is rather special, as it was when i was making a spectacle of myself 15 yrs ago!! bring it back therein lies another tunaroon

  • that Jocelyn Brown....kilt it!

  • fantastic tune, fantastic album, sheer beauty in musical form :)

  • Thank you

    Bless you

  • Kenny "Dope" Gonzarlez doing what he does best. His beats are just crazy!!! Just listen to the first minate of this track, as we say in London, HEAVYWEIGHT!!!!

  • Sick sick record. Period. Those drums are so tight and funk so HARD, the piano is just beautiful and Jocelyn KILLS the vocals.... Just three pieces that lock in perfectly. This music will be here FOREVER.... I have played this for my parents and will play if for my children and grandchildren....

  • lol...you're just as sick as me! :-(

  • I love this song

  • now thats what i call music..its alright i feel it

  • Wicked, wicked track. Absolutely funktastic! Wooo! Yeah!! Gimme this any day, it whoops arse of the like of Lady GooGoo and her band of fellow shite music makers.

  • JoelinhoTen,. i totally agree with you...

  • I hate sounding like a silly old man, but Lord, this is so much better than what's going on now.

  • this was even better than the music that was being played at that time so your not being silly at all.

  • @JoelinhoTen kenny "dope" gonzalez and that other dude.

masters at work on fucking point !

  • @ you ain't old - and you ain't crazy - this IS the primo - top shelf - that gets better with age - and Jocelyn Brown is the truth!!!!

  • @JoelinhoTen

    Yep - whats happen?

  • @JoelinhoTen we both silly then joe..its proper

  • @JoelinhoTen i'm witchu muh bruthah....

  • @JoelinhoTen New styles going down, people allways complain about the old days because strange is a weir thing and many people are not willing to accept it. You haven't brought in to the new music like in the 'old days'. Theres some new cool stuff published now! They're so many artist doing what they like. Dont put them in one little spot, try to digg it for once.

  • @besie0 I love loads of new stuff as well, but this old MAW stuff, with this sort of soul, is just my favourite music, I think. Not hating!

  • @besie0 There is a lot of cool new stuff, you just dont hear much of it on radio. Its all underground. They bludgeon you with the garbage.

  • @JoelinhoTen But you are so right!!! It is better than most of the garbage out now!

  • makes me miss the days of house music, toppin tune.

  • Track!!

  • Alistair3047

Babe, I know where the dance tunes I'm on about are sampled from. See the LOL at the end of my original comment. I was being sarcastic darling But cheers anyway! But am truly made up that you know

    Love Neuro72 x

  • Wow, I wonder where all the beautiful piano tunes from 1989 -1990 where sampled from? LOL

  • This one is from "I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun" by Rotary Connection from the early 70's.

    fckin ace.

  • thank you so much for uploading this - been searching for this version for YEARS and can't afford to play 100 quid for a good+ Vinyl.

    Stand Up - It's Alright !

  • 100 quid?!? Man I've got this on vinyl, still wont sell it, just nice to know it's worth some cheddar. "The power of the groove, will always see you through.. it's alright, I feel it"

  • stupendoooo!!!!!!

  • Monster track - takes me back to the days of the dove!

  • F***ing superb!!!

  • classic tune!

  • My mate always tries to get me into this music... not my scene 2 be honest, can't dance 2 it

  • you can dance to it.. kaba modern did and they killed it

  • You've got to be kidding me.

  • you don't know what you're missing out on geez!!!!

  • dude, if you cant dance to THIS i feel really sorry for you - grow up and try again !

  • I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd leave the kick drum off of this mix. The only "logical" thing that makes sense, is that it was meant to mixed on top of something with a kick drum in it! LOL!

  • wots u on about bourge.... there iz a kick..u cant hear it? or do u mean a 4x4 kik? im lost..

  • Correct. This tune is essentially some very creative loops/edits, with a "live" piano solo/comping overdub and Jocelyn Brown "wearin' em out" :-) I love the tune (mostly because of the "live" elements) and the loops. RIght up there with Todd Terry, creativeity-wise, IMO.

  • true classic sends me to heaven

  • Classic
