This guy doesn't realize that in his preaching he is the biggest hypocrite of all. I'm so glad I didn't run into him on campus (of course I did occasionally get approached by other campus crusaders).
God's reaction to our willfulness, arrogance, disobedience--whatever you want to call it--doesn't even make sense; rage of such intensity that it demands eternal torture only seems a logical reaction to an equal, a hated enemy. No adult would react that way to a disrespectful child, because adults know that they're so much more mature--in terms of wisdom, experience, knowledge of right and wrong. They can be "the bigger person," in short. And God is supposed to be infinitely bigger than we are?

I am a Christian and I love Jesus but I know that Jesus did not come to Earth to condemn people but to instead show them they way the truth and the light by loving them not condemning. Jesus ate and hung out with the lowest of the lows and not once did he condemn them with words but instead showed the compassion and the right way to live.
What this guy did makes me extremely sad. This is why many people around the world believe Christians are the way this guy is, but that's simply not true.
These people are such wonderful public speakers.
