@TheAccordlx Like the other guy said there are safety precautions in order to protect drivers at the track. If you reck at 122mph without a cage there is a serious chance that you would be hurt or killed. NHRA rules are that if you run an 11.49 or faster then you have to have at least a roll bar. 10.99 or faster you have to have at least a 4 point cage with a racing harness. That is if my memory is correct lol.

far from hating dude. i have an evo with a stock turbo stock motor stock maf, stock injectors FULKLK WEIGHT and pump gas that went 11.29 at 119.45 it makes MAYBE 400whp....so al's 550whp sti is a fuckin joke. first off it went 123 which shows 2 things. either its not making 550whp OR theres slow shifting. at 550 hp you should be 10mph faster than that. woo low 11.'s and 550 whp.....hahahahaha...theres something to be proud of.

So that if you get hurt the track isnt responsible until you do that you get banned from the track.

Englishtown's an NHRA facility, so they're real adament about the proper safety equipment. If you want to run faster than 11.50, a 6 pt roll bar is required. It gets a little more strict if you're running in the 9's.

If you guys run at Englishtown, they basically missed you by mistake. Englishtown is really good about catching every single car in violation. If you don't run at an NHRA facility, the rules tracks abide by change drastically. I've never heard of anyone being chastised for using the last turn off here, but maybe other tracks get that way. I worked at Englishtown for 3 1/2 years, and have raced there for two years. Each facility is different, but anything NHRA will have to follow NHRA rules.
