@audamo77 me again. Just flicked to cyndi lauper.. And this is a terrible cover. No feeling whatsoever in this girl's voice. Typically they (there must be a 'they') probably grabbed these good looking lasses straight out of highschool because they could look and sing pretty. May as well be the spicegirls. I won't click dislike though so don't lump me in the 12(+) that have never been laid by a pretty irish girl with the voice of an angel :p

@beaucat10...To quote Lisa Kelly in an interview..."No one has ever said that Celtic Woman would only sing traditional Irish/Celtic songs"....You must remember that Celtic Woman came about at the request of PBS..every one of these performances was recorded as a TV special for PBS..Celtic Woman was only supposed to be a one time concert..but here we are 7 years and over 300 live performances later...Much of the music presented is for U.S. audiences

@pokermon2...The director for this performace was Alex Coletti,  Stage Direction was Daryn Crosbie, Sound Direction was Andrew Boland David Downes is the Musical Director, he also does most of the musical arrangements, and of course conducts the orchestra...

Máiréad Nesbitt the violinst plays for example a lot original pieces. But it's true they do mostly covers.. but as long as they do them good I'm not complaining.. :)

I think they are very good. Some people are commenting about how their movements and expressions are annoying (their words not mine) and I think what they are seeing is a result of stage performers being filmed. When you perform for a live audience all your movements and expressions must be more pronounced. The movements can look over-dramatic in a camera close-up but you would probably think they were just right if you were in the live audience.

@SirsRose Over-dramatic mouth movements? They're singing beautifully, not mumbling into a microphone as do some of our more "modern" singers here in the states. It's part of classical training. (I can attest to this with three years of private lessions under my belt thus far.)
