The blocks in Magnet Man's level aren't really that bad, and this is coming from someone who is terrible at them. You just have to time it so you jump on the block and immediately jump to the next one. The fans wont have much effect then. There are far worse block "puzzles" in other MM games.

Nice review. Yeah I'm 2 years late. Now for some additional comments...

1) Nintendo Power said to beat Magnet Man first. He does only take 14 hits from the buster, and he has the easiest disappearing platforms I believe of any game. Even if not, you just super jump out of the pit (hurray in game cheats!) Never tried Top Man first.

2) Search Snake Quick Man, more hits but less of a pain when you miss. Also, he's bigger as Doc Robot/Doku Robot, making him harder to avoid even with a slide!

TBH I'm not exactly praying for Mega Man 4 to come out on the Virtual Console. However I do hope Capcom eventually bring Mega Man 6 to the Wii VC because that game kicks ass =)

I was a couple feet away from the PC and he just suddenly came out with tips and stratigies and suddenly starting giving away the boss order. I got spoiled a little. And the tips section comes before the end of the review! So I have to fast forward. He also right off the bat told us to fight Top Man first in the beginning of the review.

Actually it is important to know for the review. I've seen people hate on Mega Man games because they just never seemed to choose a good order of stage completion. It would make the game too hard and frustrating, or force backtracking in later games with items you could find.

3 was good but wily castle and bosses disapointed me acording to inafune he didnt complete the game so probably they would have been harder

This is a tip how to get the rush jet, first destroy Shadow man then press start go next stay on SH weapon then press → press A (NES) or 2(Wii) then get a charger of weapons & !YEEEEEEeeaaaaaa¡ you get the rush jet. See a.

I just beat this game today. I beat needle man first... I also found the Wily boss... easy. I used the megabuster and rush jet for the first one, and I used the hand thing to kill the the first helmet on the second wily boss and then just kept jumping over wily with the snake thing in the second helmet. The ending was so cheesy though, "That whistle... it must have been... Protoman!" I then started playing seven *blech* that's it! I'm through with the later mega mans! 8-bit awesomeness FTW!
