as long as there are Filipino worth dying for... there is hope for this country. there may be people who are easily blinded by money and twisted corporate media information but there are still Filipino who knows what is half-truth and what is not. we only have one country. the Philippines.

ninoy's death freed us from a dictator, it also led us to these power-hungry, corrupt, selfish, despicable politicians and we did'nt do a damn thing!

the only way you can eliminate poverty in the philipines is to eliminate all the corruptions from the government officials that are pocketing all the people's money and removed GMA from power... she is so useless and so annoying to see her on tv just smiling and waving like a puppet.

Rome was not built in a day, likewise any benefits in the improvement of the economy will take time to propagate down to the average person in the street. People should not expect that just because some gains in the economy will eliminate poverty overnight! It doesn't work that way.

It would take some generations to eliminate poverty all together, but the good news is that with the resurgence of RP economy, it is actually helping reduce poverty in the country according to the Asian Development Bank.

The only way to restore the Philippine Republic is to limit the governmnt power. Reform the economic policy to economic freedom and have a strong constitutional law. Let the free-markets regulate our economy thru sound money. Cut taxations, stop regulations, eliminate national, public, and external debts. The country will become prosperous if we allow personal liberty, sound money, free-markets and the Constitutional Republic to be the foundation of our nation. We'll becom the envy of the world!
