@athiestsshallburn well 4.01 is out and focus is reality now... tbh I am not that displeased... at 80 my MM hunter seems effective enough on the bg. although mages seem rather insanely powerfull (got a 42k crit by a mage on my ass yesterday oneshotting my 35k hp and yes I have a full set of relentless armor fully gemmed and enchanted on me) still focus seems to work well enough.... I am pleasantly suprised with it tbh and it feels better than mana since hunter is a physical not a magical class

aimed shot costs 50 focus AND has cast time so now it wont work in PVP AND focus has a slow ass regen, i can only use 3 abilities and then GONE all focus down in zero, making it almost impossible to lvl if u got much aggro wich u often will. and in pvp u HAVE to be a twink in order to be nr.1 or maybe not, but its sad..... but i think they will fix some of those probs or else i wont use the hunter again!

As a 2320 MMR hunter I agree with a few points. Kiting and burst is dead but aimed shot is off the bat with steady shot. Burst is higher but not viable for pvp in terms of rotating burst spells

I have a level 60 warlock and play BG PvP a lot. The fact that they made Fear to be instant cast disturbs me because it makes it too easy... I like how it is currently 1.5 second cast b/c it really forces you to think quickly and really strategise how you can make that spell work to your advantage... Call me a tad on the masochistic side, but a part of me thinks that the 1.5 second wait at least gives other players a chance to make their move...

@capiki Warlocks allready have lots of instant CCs, i belive it won't even make that much of a diffrence. I have death coil, howl of terror (if affli), counter spell (from the felhunter), shadowfury (if destro) which are instant cast, and near instant cast CCs such as fear, howl of terror (if not affi), seduction (points in destro) and even engineering explosives which stun, like the frag belt. The way you can counter this is to attack and CC the warlock before he has the possability using them

@capiki All you need to do to beat a warlock is take advantage of the fact that is hunters have the biggest range spells in the game. So kite as much as you possibly can, use your pet moves and use any sort of silencing/cooldown spells that you have

If you're a really skilled hunter then you can pull it off but it is very hard. Warlocks are beatable by hunters, unlike priests, but again, a hunter and warlock of the same level, a warlock will almost always win.

I like the Idea of a none mana dps since hunter is a physical dps in my opinioin but

my hunter will have a 100 focus and will use 30 to 60 per shot, I will regen at a standart rate of 6 per sec, or 12 it will be ages between shots....

hmmm no more ammo, so all my joy in engineering my own bullets as a MM hunter is gone to. Ill try this for a month but I think I dont like what they have done I will either delete my char or the entire game I am not optimistic about what I heard we will see damn

Like, theyre not removing the fucking DR or anything, and no smart warlock will waste a major CD on an instant fear when they can just cast it normally. I'm loving the changes they're making to warlocks. My only concern is the amount of butthurt nonwarlocks spewing their monotonous faggotry to blizzard about how OP warlock's fear is (and they get 3!!1!) despite the fact that certain conditions must be met before all but one becomes useful. And they overlook the fact that nearly every other class gets at least one fear, or an equivalent. Nevermind the fact that a warlock's only defense besides mediocre self heals is fear.
