PS: I think it's not your fault the song has a shitty chord structure, all her songs are the same, and don't have much to go off of, but... like I said, the way you do it could really make the world of difference. Her songs are interesting, despite the lack of chord structure -- so my ultimate suggestion is to find a way to make the accompaniment sparkle like your singing... ;)
