I made 174whp untune last month. my LS/vtec is 11 years old, its my daily driver and i do plenty of long distant drives from LA to sacremeto to the bay all the way to pismo to santa cruz. ya get the picture.
what the heck? hmm... i got nothing to say just that my LS/vtec is 10 years old, stock pistons with skunk2 stage 2 cams and sprockets. i can hang side by side with my brothers built GSR swap ek hatch with CTR pistons and a fully built GSR head.(GSR dyno'd in at 183whp on california 91 octane with a .7xx head gasket)
car was tuned with just 93 pump and was drove as a daily driver for over 20k in two different cars and two race seasons then I sold it off as far asi know it's still running good. but I will say this it was night and day from 93 to 110 race. car went in a crx from 13.5 to 12.8 with only changing gas
i did exaclty 173whp also on a B16B stock.. just itr headers and intake.. whats going on here?? I tune street tuned on crome then just read the result on the dyno since it can't hold load for me to tune.
this run was just on a crappy street tune. I just wanted to see what it would put out, and a dyno day came up so I put her up on the drums to see what she had. later we managed to make at least anther 10 to 15whp also on a street tune had to lean it out actually when we put a wide band on it. i was suppried to make 173whp considering it was as rich as 8 to 1 a wot same motor in my crx ran mid 12's allmotor with a bone stock shot 220k+ suspension.
That pretty good. 173whp, it should be able to do a lil more and a better tune. i did 165whp on my all stock ls/vtec. only ebay headers and ngk plugs. Tune on Chrome pro.

do you run on regular gas . im asking cuz im putting ctr pistonsin a b18a1 block ls head ported n polish 3 angle valve job
