Let's all take a good strong look at pediatric language in Senator Rockefeller's bill to ensure that the payment structure works for providers serving peds population.
Our waiver county allocations and R&D for the waiver made it through budget cuts here in California.
So, in these tough economic times, we can hold on to the belief in our cause to compassionately serve the dying and know that there is still compassion in govt.
I second that! The pediatric population must be recognized and acknowledged as an important part of any legislation regarding hospice services and reimbursements. As our healthcare reform continues, let us not make the same mistake twice and leave the children and families out of reach of necessary and desired hospice services that are required for nearly 60,000 children every year. DO NOT allow these children/families to be denied any longer.
Thank you, Don, for all YOU do.
