@Satch4lifez O.K. look, this isn't that difficult. By your logic, EVERY musician that is really talented would be poor. Yes, there are musicians without what most people over 14 would call talent. Also, there are also musicians with tons of skill that do not have 2 pennies to rub together. HOWEVER there are boatloads of musicians with tons of talent AND tons of money. Steve is in that category. That is what I was referring to. Didn't think I needed to explain in such depth.

@guitarCHS no you just say that they have a lot of talent in the first place not money... money really has nothing to do with it, yes it is a measure of a musicians success to some extent but a totally unreliable gauge as to whether a musician is talented.

@extradutyfelt1 ALS is Lou Gehrig's Disease. I think he was referring to Jason (Becker) not Jeff Beck. he's doing fine!
