I bought mine around...february? I think..and damn lol..love it..haven't had a problem. I could have spent a little more and got the newer updated touch of color monitors..but why would I when this has a higher res than those xD (this= 1920 x 1200, those = 1920 x 1080) I use this for my PC/PS3/360/and DirectTV reciever...it's amazing. If you have the money, get it, you won't regret it. :D

I know lol. They aren't perfect. Acers are pretty good from my experience. You get some lemons with samsungs just like acers and dells and LGs etc, even rebranded screens.

Nowadays viewing angles are pretty much 170/170 across the board, and sharpness is great so long as you're getting any 200-300 dollar 20"+ monitor.

i just ordered the t240 hd but which same pros and cons apply but one of the few cons which is a big 1 is the brightness which is only 300cm compared to regular lcds at 400cm and you can see and tell for your self just look at the difference between the t260 and the lcd in the background around 2:53 youll see that the other lcd is much brighter

hey m8 just removed your negative thumb for ya ;) you sound quite confused but here we go, this monitor, being from samsung, is very high quality (build and image quality) also samsung offer a good warranty so if it does go wrong you can very easily send it to Samsung now as to your definision problems what you are looking for is an LCD or a HDLCD Plasma is not that good for PC but if you want it for HDTV Plasma is available in larger sizes but is usualy allot more expencive

by fcc law it is a "monitor" because it does not have a hdtv tuner built in (astc), but it can be used as a tv.

basically all your cable and satelitte providers have to give you a box for your tv. the box has a hdtv tuner in it so the tuner is unnecessary right now until more companies use tunercards for wireless hdtv viewing which needs the tuner.

joel , let me give you a review. the w240d is a tn monitor: 24", 1:3000, 2 ms, 500 cd/m2. and priceless. but if youre a gamer, you can buy the pva panel. the w241d. the w241d has a 6ms, 400 cd/m2 , 24 ", and a contrast ratio 1:1000. the dynamic cr, its around 3000:1, but you get 400 cd/m2.

anyway iam not an expert , im just a gamer , and as a gamer i just wanna buy the best monitor available . i hope you can get the point.

TN isn't better for gaming. It lacks high input lag but is often less smooth than PVA or MVA panels.

yes it is, tn has low ms for less blur and you dont need an 8bit panel for games since accurate colurs arent necessary

The specified ms on screens means nothing cuz that's grey-to-grey response time. You won't see the difference between any screen under 10 ms. What matters is the black-to-white response time and anything under 25 ms is good in that aspect. TN aren't necessarily better for games but they do have very low input lag.
