    I've always played with my left hand on top, and I've been playing actively for about 15 years. There may be official "rules" but it's really more of a preference thing. Same with the tongue. Actually, I generally reserve the tongue for specific effects and play through the notes, letting the fingering play through to the end of a phrase with a continual breath. It takes a little more breath control, but I like the sound. But again, it's a preference thing.

  • u held the recorder wrong u put your left hand on top and right on bommom and always have both hands on the recorder at all times even though you are not going 2 use thoose notes and you are soupused to tounge if u want it to sound beter
