  • GAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!

  • It's movies like these that keep storytelling in film alive. 5 stars. For my indie fans out there be sure to support 'The Lie" when it comes out 11/18/11, check out the trailer. It looks like it's gonna be a winner.

  • my asshole with an ass-grape can shit mumblecore better than anything out right now. this film is made by those boring art school fags for art school fags who overanalyse everything and imagine they get some profound message from wasting 2 hrs watching this.

LMAO YOU KNOW ITS TRUE =D

  • @kcuskcid not really

  • @kcuskcid ok, its actually true

  • @hardcorezombi thats the spirit !! =D

  • If The Onion says it's a great film doesn't that mean it's not?

  • One of my favourite films: a masterclass of subtle, minimalist film-making.

  • I firkking hate the director and all mumblecore but Kate Dollenmayer rules, and actually rises above the bullshit.

  • i wonder what kind of camera they used...

  • @bootsluzer mine.

  • hard to believe this was released almost 10 years ago, its just so depressing to know youve watched this 10 years ago, man this must make people feel so old.

    somtimes life is so........pfa\kndfsfweufdnednafcwfdlcajds!?!!!!!!!!?!?!?!//??!?!/

  • is it actually funny?

  • She is very charming

  • Annoying White People With Too Much Time On Their Hands-Core.

  • @calebengler YOU right.

  • check out my channel and S 4 S if u sub ill sub back!!

  • I loove this movie.

  • I found this movie by chance Saturday night on TV and I'm so glad I did. The critics are right, it's not pretentious like most films in this genre. It wasn't "trying hard" at all but naturally presenting real human emotions. This film made me uncomfortable at times because it brought back some memories but despite it all, I really enjoyed it. Now I feel like having a beer.

  • this film is so so shit

  • i liked it better when it had good sound engineering, starred winona ryder, and was called 'reality bites.'

  • @thighmister HAHAHAHAAHAHAH!!! touche

  • what is the song/ I like it!

  • bishop allen drive

  • best part in the movie: Justin Rice as the roommate. Mutual Appreciation is much better than this.

  • i luff dis film

  • "are you guys married? Yea pretty much,,," ha ha, love the movie. it's a bit Jarmusch.

  • i know TONS of people who are like this but at the same time i don't see it as a portrayal of a typical american but just a very honest portrayal of these particular people.

  • what are the names of the songs in thiese clips? they all sound dangerously familiar.

  • I'm not sure of what the names of the songs are but they're all by the band, Bishop Allen. I know for sure that the last song is called "Things Are What You Make of Them" from their album, "Charm School." The guy who plays Alex is in the band, as well the guy who plays Alex's roommate (who says "Want a gummy bear?" in the trailer).

  • I already knew that, but thanks though. I was really referring to the very first song played, but I suppose no one knows.

  • Busted Heart is the first song.

  • I figured it out. :)

    Better late than never, though.

    Thanks.

  • i am totally head over heels in love with this movie :)

  • GoblinGirl is the biggest snob on youtube. Btw, mumblecore blows.

  • She has that imperfect forlorn beauty that drives some guys crazy. I quite literally fell in love with her when I first saw this film.

  • you mean she's average but with a bit of natural, subtle charm?

  • kate dollenmayer is really cute

  • um.

  • i liked it

  • what is this song

  • i think music is mostly from the band Bishop Allen

  • cute. authentic.

    love this trailer =)

    particularly the soundtrack.

  • this looks fuckin awesom-o

  • This film is overrated. I was bored through the whole thing. It had no plot and the characters were dull. A better mumblecore movie is "Hannah Takes the Stairs."

  • This film is REALLY overrated. It's not bad, but it certainly isn't this masterpiece that critics have made it out to be.

  • well the trailer could be shortened a bit !

the movie is ok.... it´s funny, but that´s realy all to it.

  • funny movie ;)
