I think she was singing more about her sister, Susie's marriage. Susie had three kids, and was having probllems in her marriage, even way back then. She finally divorced in 2007 I think, after about 27 years of marriage.
Do you have the whole video from this night? If so could you please post the entire thing. I know Reba was asked to join the Opry that night and I've always wanted to see that again. Thanks in advance!!!!!! ;)
@YourTvTube I sure hope you find the whole show. I would love to see her invite to the opry, REBA is my all time favorite. I would pay to see her sing the phonebook, lol. She is awesome!
This song ripped at my guts for the last few years of my first marriage...and it still does. It was on the charts at the time. We finally split up, and there were three little girls involved. The scars have healed, and we've moved forward in life, but I missed out on alot. Two of them are married now, and one has given me a grandson!
Can't believe she choked up towards the end:'( not too crazy about the hair, but her voice is unstoppable!!! When she sings, the world puts its listening ears on just to hear her wonderful voice!!! Reba, I wish the best of luck in future performances!! Miss Morgan
I can tell the words ment alot to Reba throughout the track, also so did Reba - My story.. This is just one of tons of tracks Reba has sung that gets to me.
This looks like a video from the night she was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry! I've never seen video...just pics from the night! Listen to that perfect voice...man it just give me chills!
Thanks for replying. I think I saw some footage of Reba performing at the Grand Ole Opry in the late 90s on youtube somewhere. She should visit the Opry again!
Reba just wanted to say thank you for that song, because it really hit home. I heard it and tears filled my eyes. Again thank you.

Reba is one of the few singers who actually sounds better live than on her records. There's no Autotune here!

Beautiful and timeless! She sounds the same, if not better today. Thanks Reba for understanding your songs and feeling the music!

She is standing on, once what was the old part of the stage, from the Ryman Auditorium. At the time, it was the Grand Ole Opry in 1986.
