Hmmm, I loved this so much (even shed some tears over the goodness of our Lord) until the part about "smite them Lord"...I can't help it, I find myself praying instead "save them Lord, change their hearts"...I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm right, just that I can't relate to that part of your prayer or David's similar prayers. I'm so thankful to you slowpoke77777 for these Psalms vids, just super.
Thanks for your wonderful comments, I myself would ask the Lord to soften their hearts, but I just write my poems as the Psalm actually says, I don't have the right to change God's word, some will contain goodness, as you said, others just seem very harsh, but the true reality is "vengeance will be mine" saith the Lord
