  • i love the beatsss

  • i love the beat

  • This is Stevie Wonder's best song EVER!!!!!

  • It just occurred to me while hearing this song that Ceelo Green's style of singing resembles Stevie's sort of...Love this song :)

  • Big ( Thank You ) Johnnie ,,,,,,,

  • 2 people haven't been on the front lines yet.

  • Great underrated song! Thanks for posting.

  • People..Stevie can Rock, do Jazz, Classical, Soul,R and B and anything else he damn well pleases... I submit Stevie is the Musical Chuck Noriss!!!

We need some good jokes/sayings for Stevie.

    Hes the passivist bad ass!!!!

  • Great classic track

  • One of my favourites by Stevie and the best recording around here. Thanks.

  • yeah

  • used to play this tune when I had to cold call some mean streets in LA selling technology....

  • This song reminds me so much of my dad and it's weird because he joined the army in 1964 and lost his leg like the song. He wasn't in the front line. Vietnam was a really pointless war.

  • A deep soul !!

  • The most underrated anti-war song.

  • Excellent...but was this on "Talking Book"?

  • @1Mellodee It sure wasn't. This was one of the 4 new songs on this compilation album.

  • One of the best anti -Vietnam/war songs EVER!! I wished he'd play it live sometimes.

  • @nidiaaw What do you think of Roger Taylor "Masters of war"?

  • gohead stevie, sang it.

  • This is one of Stevie's good songs that does not get a lot of attention.

  • This should be the theme song for Frontline: Canine and Feline Flea & Tick Medication...

  • Stevie kilt it on this track!

  • wow. I first started discovering stevie wonder's music from mostly 1970's songs in the key of life era, then looked at the stuff from when he was real young(little stevie), and i still have a whole decade to look at with the 80's. just when i thought i had a thourough collection. his anthology is so extensive it's crazy..

  • I grew up with 80's Stevie and it wasn't until I started digging did I find that he was a start at 12. His For Once In My Life album was for me where he started really coming into his own.

  • I've been actively studying his work for like 2 years now,[was born in backstreet boys time, not stevie time : ( ] and thanks in large part to your channel i've found lots of stuff I would never find anywhere else, lots of gems that the oldies stations just wont play. just wanted to say thanks for sharing.

  • My pleasure, I'm glad that I'm able to open up the library of Stevie to everyone who don't know, or who have forgotten how great he truly is.

  • @johnniewalker23 I grew up during the golden years of Motown....If you really want to be impressed give a re-listen to his version of "Blowin' In The Wind" from 1966! He nailed it and even Bob Dylan was impressed!

  • This song fucking rocks.

  • Wow, the lirycs of this song are so poetic... Stevie is pure genius...

  • Ultra modern song for the time! super !!! Thanks Stevie

  • This song is not just about Nam but all wars that we are now wrapped up in 4rel.

  • wise beyond his age

  • Of course, there was no "frontline" in Vietnam. The enemy was a ghost...

  • More poor people dying to protect the rich and powerful

  • @ZappaFamilyPlumbers we stand at back of the line when getting ahead ! !

  • This is surely the best protest song against stupid war and the cheerleaders of it.

  • Comment removed

  • The best protest song ever made. Fantastic and moving.

  • i had to do a music report on any musical artist of his time, so i chose stevie cause i have this cd! i love him!

  • nice choice.

  • definitely.

  • kickass ^^,

  • Still True today!

    SomeWhere In Chicago,

  • His contribution to real Rock&Roll!!!

  • Amen to that! he has a song in just about every genre!

  • LOve,LOve LOve this slice of seventys funk, albeit from 1982!
