One doesn't have to be the best singer to sell alot of albums these days. the test will be if her next few albums continue to sell or at some point will people choose not to buy her albums anymore because they realize she no longer has the voice that they once enjoyed. but clive davis is a shrewd jew he'll find a way to keep making $ off of her.
That being said then we are all deteriorating by That definition.

I just wish I could hear a glimpse of this Whitney in her new material.
Her performances now are 'perfected' and 'acted' shes lost the naturalness of her perfomances let alone 'that voice'
Now she does the same run on every song but back then she sang inspirationally. She was known for not singing the same song the same way twice.
What happened to you Whitney?

He never earned as much as "Lets Get Serious"! after that. The Victory tour ruined him. He was not able to tour with Whitney. He was two years behind promoting any of his material. The tour didn't make him money!

I love this song I remember my parents playing this when I was a child. I thought someone else sung this song with Whitney not Jermaine. Lovely song and everytime I hear it I cry. After doing some research, I conclude that Whitney's/Jermaine's version is ORIGINAL! (And also with NLMLYD!) Both of these songs premiered on August 3, 1984 on CBS's As The World Turns! Anne Murray's version as a single wasn't released until September, and the album with TGCOMH wasn't released until October. It was rare by the mid-80s to have a two-sided hit and a new song recorded by multiple artists, but Whitney managed both!

jermaine had 8 kids and of them 2 are 4 months apart. one by hazel and another by his girlfriend and the timeMargaret Maldonado.Alejandra just recently took jermaine to court to include his current wife's income for child support. There is a vid somewhere online of his lawyer boasting about how she is going to get.
