Bellissimi i wilkinson, ho comprato una chitarra recentemente, GFP Orion, stile les paul, hanno come stock i wilkinson, suona benissimo, pulita ma perfetta pe la musica che suono io, tipo Guns N Roses! Well done!

@mattyforwood si, sono tra i PAF che preferisco, e il prezzo è un dato che francamente non interessa. Ho anche dei PAF Classic DiMarzio, e suono spesso Les Paul con alcuni tipi di Burstbucker, ma decisamente quelli che preferisco sono i Wilkinson. Sarei curioso di provare qualcosa di "serio" della Seymour come PAF, ma parliamo di prodotti costosissimi e comunque sono già più che soddisfatto di come suonano questi. Il feedback non è un problema in quanto non li uso per roba spinta

@rafport fai bene, io avevo una Gibson Les paul, ci ho buttato dei Duncan Designed che sarebbero i Duncans, ma un livello piu basso, bellissimo il suono percio` immaggino che qualcosa tipo Alnico 2 Pro sarebbero na cosa allucinante. Cmq adesso co la gfp i wilkinson stanno na meraviglia, manco ci penso a cambiarli

No, macche modelli i-spira (avendoli provati nemmeno mi fanno impazzire ed hanno un prezzo da ladrocinio!). è una bach normalissima, colorazione mi sembra cherry sunburst. ci ho solo messo due pickup Wilkinson che puoi facilmente trovare su ebay nuovi a una manciata di euro la coppia, non erano affatto male manco quelli di serie (zebrati ceramici, molto cattivi) ma questi suonano proprio da veri paf. poi ci ho cambiato capotasto, ma nel

@StefanoComo1981 video che guardi c'è ancora il suo originale di plastica. ne ho preso uno della Graphtech in tusq, scorrevolissimo, suono notevole e grande rigidezza... 6 euro :) stop. ho smontato e rivoltato come un guanto molte chitarre, come puoi vedere dal mio canale, ma qui davvero non c'è bisogno di far nulla è perfetta così com'è. e lasciamo stare i grandi nomi a chi ha molti soldi da spendere...

@rafport Ho appena guardato per i pick up, ovviamente prima di cambiarli vedrò il suono di partenza! per le meccaniche e il ponte funziona tutto bene anche facendo tanti bending? più che altro spero di comprare una chitarra con buoni legni in cui se ci faccio un upgrade riesco a tirare fuori un suono che voglio...

@rafport ...anche perchè mi serve una chitarra con un bel pulito ma non stile fender strato e un distorto rock tipo aerosmith simili!avevo una fender mexicana ed era veramente scadente, comprata su DV27 e arrivata senza leva del vibrato, il ponte montato storto rispetto ai pick up e il manico storto, e comunque in generale non mi piaceva il suono di partenza! infatti poi al limite potrei provare a prendermi anche un modello Bach Stratocaster e magari anche in quella cambiare capotasto e pick up!

Nice playing and tone! I'm planning on buying a bach les paul, can you tell me how is the sustain on these guitars, where there any mistakes in finish or fret buzzing when you bought it? I'm am unable to test the guitar myself as there are no Bach dealers in my country, so the only way to get it is an online order. Hope you can help with my questions.

@GrofCmarnik i've 2 bach guitars, and tried several of friends as anyone tried mine then buy it. Bach guitars, and especially the les pauls, are very, very good guitars. sustain is impressive, finish is very good (maybe little detail show it is not a 2000 dollar guitar, but usually things you can easily correct or change), setup is very good with correct shape and low action neck, hardware go from decent to good. far better than a Vintage guitar (Vintage are very nice les pauls anyway)

Yeah really great sounding Les Paul, those Wilkinson pickups sound amazing and so much better than those other ones. I love Wilkinson gear. I have 3 wilkinson designed guitars and they're all amazing for different reasons. I have an Italia Modena Classic, an Italia Rimini and an italia Mondial Deluxe. Only the Mondial has Humbuckers but they are different to yours. They're the Vintage ones, which are nice and clear but softer sounding tones but yours sound much better for Les Paul sound. Love it

@gullywoots i'm not sure as it is a video of several months ago, but the clean part should be an hiwatt simulation, the crunch an ac30 and the the ac30 with a tubescreamer

@Zukatsr125 sure. the only poor thing is the nut, you can think about change it. anyway if you roll in the right way strings on tuners, and lube your nut (lipsticks is a good lube for nuts) you should reach a pretty decent tuning. i've used other bachs and all stay in tunes (and all got bad plastic nut that need to be changed, for perfect tuning and better sustain)

@nadibs pod xt is very good for direct recording, i'm not convinced about the use with real amps (i should be honest on this, i never play pod without headphones, i use real amps). anyway has great tone for recording. for very heavy and high gain modern tones the vox tonelab can be a better choice. for al not so extreme tone, is a touch sensitive product and play very well. if you need a real modeling amp, i for me the best is the roland cube (the bigger like 30x or 80x), no match with others
